JAPANESE 🍣
I'll be here often, in fact already my second time in a month. It's a causal joint that serves very good yakitori, and prices are good for its quality as well. Excluding drinks, a Friday night dinner here would be around $100 to $150 for two persons.

A sumiyaki under Les Amis, which guarantees quality. As a fan of PRC BBQ, this was also overpriced relative to the food. Especially these rice pots, which go for $35 to $55. It serves two, but both the rice and the eel were very ordinary.

Sashimi not the freshest. Disappointed. Not impressed. Will not come back again.
Note that this is tasting portion. The sakura is stir fried to perfection such that it is very crispy with natural shrimp sweetness. 👍🏻

Thank you @foodgemsg to bring me along.
With dashi jelly, citrus jus, golden tobiki, ayu soy. $8 per oyster
Love this combination of pan-fried and barbecued pork, spring onions, seaweed, raw egg and a drizzle of addictive secret sauce over pearly morsels of Koshihikari rice, served in a heated stone-pot rice bowl to ensure that it is best enjoyed at the optimum temperature!
$11.90
The ramens range from $7.90-$12.90 and for the low price, we went in with low expectations but were genuinely impressed with the flavorful tonkotsu broth that is on par to the $16+ ramen around. There is a generous serving of 3 big different cuts of tender & delicious Cha Siew, bamboo shoots & half an Onsen egg. Minor complains are that the noodles are slightly tough & the onsen egg lacked flavour but for this price point, we’ll def be back again.

Ikura and sea urchin #burpple
This limited edition barachirashi (only 5 sets a day) is chock-full of sashimi and topped off with delightful uni. #theCuriousCraving #epicuration #burpple
Excellent mixed tempura ($15) with good quality prawns, veggies, mushroom. The batter was light, not overly greasy and you can taste the sweetness of the ingredients beyond the crunch.
