Liang Zhao Ji Duck Porridge Duck Rice (Whampoa Makan Place Block 90)

Firm and flavourful duck meat with thick and gooey gravy. The braised gravy was savoury with hints of herbal taste. They serve only dark sauce rice rather than yam rice. The texture of the rice was a little dry and grainy that I went back to request more gravy over my rice. Their spicy and zesty sambal belacan chilli added more flavours to everything and it is a must-have 》$12.80 (2 Pax)

The thick braised sauce was so good. The chilli also damn shiok. Rice portion also alot.

The duck meat was a little dry.

But overall, this is indeed an excellent plate of duck rice.

Expect a queue here during lunch time.

Here this morning to try this duck rice that featured on Michelin Bib. Long queue is expected and I totally agree that it was delicious. Satisfied portion for $5 that come with a small bowl of soup.

Finally brace at queue at this famous stall at Whampoa Market during lunch hour. Not a fan of their sauce, is a tad too sticky and i don’t really like the taste. However, the duck meat is really good. Soft and tender without any usual blood/iron taste.

really really tasty duck rice and porridge! very worth coming here. went on a sunday afternoon and had to queue for about 30 mins, but it’s worth the wait. would definitely come here again! 😍😍😍
