Glad we found this place! 7 course lunch set starts at $68++, which included tuna miso tatare, century egg tofu, pork ball broth appetizers, followed by a great mix of sashimi, main of either sushi (tuna, seabream, salmon belly, flounder) or chirashi bowl. Ended off with black cod and yuzu jelly. Highlight definetely the sashimi for me, meat was fresh and firm to the bite. Main was a half serving really, but the filling sides more than make up for it. Wished that the cod was done savory rather than in mayo mentai dip, which sort of overpowered the taste of such a fatty fish. Overall, great couple spot that is bang for buck, with great ambience and very attentive service!

Affordable good Japanese food for a special occasion. Omakase means to trust the chef with your meal. I love to dine omakase style because we are allowing the skilled chef present the best seasonal produce in its finest form.

Two indulgent delicacies in this dish, in an overall value-for-money omakase. The $188++ "Jun Omakase" menu came with:
1. A platter of 3 seasonal starters
2. Assorted premium seasonal sashimi
3. First main - Hokkigai Batayaki
4. Second main - A5 wagyu with foie gras (pictured)
5. Seasonal sushi (7 pieces)
6. Soup - fish collagen soup
7. Dessert - Japanese musk melon πŸ”Έ
There's also a $138++ Jun Omakase option, and that option is already very good. Check out my ig story highlights "Jun Omakase" for what I ate in both of these omakase menu.

I was surprised when the $138 menu came with a whole abalone (awabi), while the $188 menu came with this hokkigai clam. Turns out, this clam is more expensive than abalone. And they were all alive before it was cooked, and it was as fresh as it could be.

The $138++ omakase option is also good, and very affordable. Check out my ig story highlights "Jun Omakase" for what I ate in both of these omakase menu.

What's included in the omakase is also a whole abalone (awabi). Sweet and firm awabi in a light broth of dashi and some sake. The "Ume" menu is not their highest tier omakase, as they have a "Jun" menu at $188++. But for what you get at $138++, it's a surprisingly affordable and good dinner omakase in town.

Found another good and affordable dinner omakase in town. They definitely hit the mark when it comes to the freshness of ingredients. This plate of seasonal sashimi was clearly fresh, as you can probably already tell from the translucent flesh that's also deep in colour.
