Not to have hotpot this time but some spicy dishes for a cold evening. Ordered 辣子鸡, 酸辣粉 and some 串烧skewer sticks of a few meats and quail eggs.
Totals less than $50 for 2 of us. The 辣子鸡 is about $14 and quite salty.
Had the seafood pot Set A for $58++. They ran out of crawfish and they give up crayfish instead which I am ok with it.
For a seafood lover, the amount is very generous and delicious. The soup when served with seafood is only a little. But you can ask them to top up the soup for you.
My first try at this. Surprising, I kinda like it! The Lychee Sauce on the right and the preserved vegetables soup on the left. Both were equally good. Just that the fish was rather small la. Of course, the food was oily too. But couldn't help it, I wouldn't mind coming back again!
Went there for burpple 1-1 but wasn't available. Saw this instead and it not disappoint! Quality of the seafood was good, soup was tasty but was not as spicy as I thought it could be. Must be mindful of how long you keep the food in that pot, was a little sad that we overcooked some prawns. Went there on Dragon boat festival, restaurant were really thoughtful and gave all the customers dumplings. Definitely recommended!
Bring your mates and an appetite to Bugis Cube for this shellfish feast. Expect nothing less than a gargantuan tray of clams, crab, lobster, mussels, prawns, scallops and scampi when you opt for their Seafood Platter ($118 for 4 pax, $198 for 6 pax). Also soaked in the addictive mala broth are black fungus, corn, quail egg and instant noodles.
