Serving rice bowls by day and hotpot by night, the one that caught my eye was this Tok Kong Pot aka Superb ($48.80). Accompanied with juicy tiger prawns, fresh flower clams, roasted pork, abundance of vegetables (long cabbage, xiao bai cai, enoki mushroom etc) and instant noodles, was this colossal size Alaskan Crab 🦀 tempting us to devour it quickly. Four types of broth available, including their signature fish broth which is simmered for over 8 hours!

Ah Ma Homemade Ngoh Hiang ($9.80) was divine. Y'all know I don't fancy fried stuff, but the meat inside this was SO JUICY that I'm willing to overlook the fact that this is fried. Totally edible even without the sauce on the side, it is just that flavourful. Highly recommended! Whoever this Ah Ma is, you da bomb.

I actually quite like the Sweet & Sour Chicken ($13.80), although it's major carb overload having potatoes (they are very crunchy, which I happen to enjoy) as well as rice in this bowl. The chicken was a simple, perfect balance of both sweet & sour, & goes well with the white rice it is served with.
Available during lunch, all bowls are very substantial & filling. They also come with a drink & side salad, which makes them crazy value-for-money 😲

Protein Bowl ($13.80)
Choose from quinoa, Japanese or brown rice as your base, but take note that you don't get to choose your protein- it's grilled chicken breast. The chicken was too dry for me, even after dipping it in the sauce that comes on the side. (I do, btw, appreciate it always when sauce comes on the side!) The quinoa came in a CRAZY LARGE AMOUNT, which means you are really getting bang for your buck at such a reasonable price.

If you enjoy rice in soup, Tom Yum Pao Fan ($14.80) might hit the spot for you. For me, it was okay. I guess it doesn't help that I don't like pork belly (personal preference, don't hate ya), but I did enjoy the green beans & oyster mushrooms. This didn't blow my mind, but the concept of pao fan - rice in "comforting Asian flavoured broths", I admit, is pretty cool.
