This chirashi don is stacked with thick cuts of white fish, salmon, tuna, squid, octopus, a sizable prawn, a jumbo scallop, tamagoyaki and a dollop of flying fish roe. Though the sashimi lack some glistening lustre, they were still relatively fresh and I really appreciate the generous cuts of everything in that bowl.
Part of their chef recommendation for the summer season, this Japanese rice bowl is good for a meal accompanied with their sushi.
Comes with few slices of pork chop coated with honey, they are very tender and soft.
Itacho Sushi’s popular Sushi King Competition is back once again, with 9 chefs presenting some of their unique sushi selections.
This is one of them and totally a combination of everything I love.
Surrounded with crisps bites, even the sushi itself also. They are full of flavours as you eating them.
This was one of our staple orders in the past. Not sure if it was just this bowl we had, but pity that it very much lacked the mentai flavour ☹️ The udon itself still had pretty good texture but it’s a skip for us now. Would definitely get another of their sushi rolls instead in future.
Think my last visit to Itacho was a few years ago! Probably don’t need to introduce them any further heh - they have fresh sushi, affordably priced at this quality + an extensive menu. This Roasted Salmon with Tenkasu Roll is always so satisfying with the slices of torched salmon, well-cooked sushi rice and hot crunchy tempura bits on top.
@itachosushisg is a popular chain of sushi restaurants from Hong Kong which has been in Singapore for approximately 10 years.
The food is consistently good at affordable mass market prices. One example is their deluxe seafood don ($28.80) where you get slices of fresh sashimi, scallops, uni, amaebi and a mini abalone on top of sushimeshi.
I still personally prefer Sushi Tei at this price range but this is a good alternative as well!
