Sapporo Beef Miso Ramen
Sukiyaki-style beef slices, Hokkaido butter, corn, seasoned bamboo shoots, stir-fried vegetables, dried seaweed, diced onion & chopped green onion. Served with thick noodles - $14.90
WORST SERVICE EVER! Was having lunch when a family sat on the table beside mine. The family has a child who started a rukus of shouting and crying, so loud that my companion and I could not hear each other. We brought this up to the staff that it it ruining the dining experience, staff said they can't do anything as the father is not doing anything. The whole restaurant was looking at that table with crying child and oblivion father.
We were not expecting the restaurant to teach parenting to the father but it is the restaurant's reponsibilty to ensure pleasant dining experience which the restaurant refused to do anything, no apologies to other patrons at all. We asked for the manager for a number of times but he refused to come to the table despite he was witnessing the whole situation from the other side of the restaurant, simply avoiding all responsiblities and opportunities of any form of conflict resolution; no apologies at all.
I had more than 1/2 bowl of my ramen left as I could not continue my meal yet had to pay full price for this painful experience, service charge included.
Do not bother to come here
Very surprised how generous they are with set toppings as most ramen shops will normally charge per extra toppings. We got full egg, bamboo shoot, 3 slices of charsiew and plenty of spring onion.
P.S. free extra broth. Follow our daily food update on IG
We ordered two tomato “ramen” and two jigoku ones. The jigoku “ramen” came with appalling yellow noodles and all the noodles tasted Chinese. It’s Chinese tomato egg la mian and non spicy mala yellow noodles.
Please don’t order these, or don’t come unless you have to go halal.
Had their Ichikokudo’s Regular broth (there are 3 variants - regular, light and special).
Unexpectedly pleasant experience! The noodle is chewy and the broth is rich and thick, combined with the generous amount of nori. Pretty happy with the price and quality given.
And the most surprising element is it is a Halal-ramen. So the chashu is chicken chashu instead of the classic pork chashu. The 2 pieces of chicken chashu are tasty. Overall, great place to hangout with your Halal friends.
