Heniu Teppanyaki (Wisma Atria)

Everyone should be familiar with this teppanyaki place that has been grilling for many years in Orchard.

I finally found the chance to pay a visit to grab my dinner, as there wasn’t any queue at night. Still remember it used to be lots of people queuing when they just opened.

Choose from value or premium set, or just go with ala-carte. But I would say the set is definitely valuable as it comes with lots of sides to pair with your meat.

I gotten the sliced pork, which they prepare it with spicy pepper sauce. But you can request for non-spicy.

The deluxe set comes with pieces of dory fish, half-shell scallop, tiger prawn, white rice, salad, stir-fries vegetables and soup.

But the pepper sauce seems too overwhelming for me that it totally covered the taste of the sliced pork.

Nice presentation but only the vegetables tasted the best. The prawn 🦐 was the worst, so mushy.

A long overdue visit to a teppanyaki place on my end. This set meal that I have got costs S$17.00 and it consists a plate of pan-fried vegetables, 3 small prawns, one slice of fish (probably dory), one plate of chicken, rice and soup.

What wows me in this meal is the vegetables, which does not only comprise beansprouts alone (who else is with me on loving teppanyaki beansprouts?) because they added cabbage in the veg. The sauce they use to go with the prawn is pretty tasty, and so is the honey mustard on the grilled fish and the black pepper sauce with the chicken. Basically any one of these sauces will go well with the steamed rice! Just don't expect too much out of the prawns because they are really small......

The most awesome part of this meal? Eatigo helped me to secure a 50% discount this visit. Woohoo!

My comfort food place when I’m in town and dining alone. Having Teppanyaki during peak lunch hour is the best as there is no need to chope seat at the food court. Ordered the Deluxe set with Chicken Chop, and it comes with seafood dishes. $19.90 per set. Pay with Fave and you get 10% rebate.
