Grabbed a cup of soya milk that’s super refreshing, especially when served cold. It’s light, smooth and not too sweet. Nothing fancy, just simple, old-school comfort done right 》$1.50

Tried the chicken rice at Feng Ji and honestly left a bit disappointed. Ordered for 2 pax, but the portion felt way too small for the price. It didn’t come with soup or vegetables, which makes it even less value for money when compared to their individual set meal that include both.
The chicken was tender and succulent, no complaints there. But the rice lacked the usual fragrance you’d expect, and the chilli was average at best. Decent execution on the chicken, but overall, it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Very hearty meal! Personal favourite would be the oxtail soup!! 🤩 Very flavourful and meat was super tender! Bebek goreng and ayam goreng were both decent as well 👍🏻
Loved the hot pot buffet at Ge Lao Guan! Interior was instagram worthy - good for catch up with friends. The hot pot broth was authentic and the meat was flavourful. Afterwards, we had the ice jelly which help take away some of the spice🤤 Will come back for more.
Delicious and reasonably priced zi char dishes. Cozy place to have dinner with family or friends.
Saw this store featured in the tiktok of a Japanese lady living in Singapore, and fortunately I also discovered that it is one of Burpple's merchants as well!
They offer a wide range of sobas in both hot and cold varieties, as well as rice bowls, sides, and even drinks. Everything looked so good, especially the current monthly special (oyster soba!), and we finally settled on the Collagen Chicken Soba (Hot) and Yuzu-Miso Chicken Soba (Cold). The collagen chicken soup was light-tasting and yet still full of flavour, with generous slices of chicken breast. The minced ginger also gave the broth a certain 'spiciness', and I would liken the dish to be a soupy version of chicken rice. This was good, but we very much preferred the yuzu-miso chicken soba - the coldness of the broth brought out the citrusy-savoury flavours so much more, with the crisp doumiao lending some freshness and the perfectly grilled chicken thighs rounding up the dish. Just amazing, we couldn't stop slurping this up.
Overall, service was prompt and friendly, and general ambience was bright and cheery. Prices are also pretty affordable considering the quality you get, but of course having the Burpple deal makes it all the more worth (our two bowls only came up to $18!). Would definitely return!
Got the pandan mochi waffle with two scoops of ice cream: pistachio and hojicha. Pandan mochi waffle was alright, tasted exactly like the pandan waffles you get from those bakeries, with a bit of chewy texture. The ice cream fared better - creamy and flavours really shone through. Would definitely return to try the others!
The spice was mild, and I was expecting a bit more tang, but the broth was still flavourful. Loved the silky egg tofu and crunchy bean sprouts—and they’re generous with the fish slices. The enoki and tomato added a nice touch too. Paired with fluffy white rice, it made for a comforting meal, though I do wish the sourness came through a little more 》$13.80 / Double Set

Went there on a Monday evening with partner. Great atmosphere, perfect for a couple to chat about their day.
Ordered the Garlic Prawn, Truffle & Parmesan Cream Pasta and the Ribeye.
Garlic Prawn was flavourful, prawns were huge too. Was also extremely pleased with the doneness of the Ribeye, as well as the creamy texture of the pasta.
Lastly, we ended with the tiramisu! Great taste and not overly sweet. Super smooth too.
Would recommend it for those who are looking to have a great meal ard Marina Bay!
A Taiwanese classic that brings bold flavours and irresistible aroma to the table. The chicken is simmered and braised in a fragrant trio of soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil, then served bubbling hot in a claypot.
Every element of this dish captivates, from its deep, glossy sheen to its tender bite and rich, savoury depth. The slightly salty, umami-packed gravy makes it a perfect companion for a bowl of rice, soaking into every grain for an indulgent, well-rounded pairing 》$15 / Small
