Pork loin is thinly battered & deep-fried to crispy but not oily; meat is tender except the area where the ligament is; toasted milk bread is soft & fluffy; came with emmental & shredded cabbage; sesame dressing helps to cut through the greasiness; best for sharing..

Salmon marinated with miso & well-cooked to perfection; skin is slightly charred, fillet is fresh & firm; below is a bed of smooth mashed potatoes; came with creamy lemon sauce which is thick but not surfeiting, lemon taste can be more pronounced..

Al-dente pasta tossed in garlic, white wine & lemon; broth is flavorful with natural sweetness from clams; clams are fresh & firm; prefer to have more broth to go with the noodles..

The linguine was cooked just nice. The sauce wasnt jelat but it was really spicy. I feel that the prawns wasnt too fresh. Would try their other pastas next time.

We went around 3pm and the place was crowded. Quite a few items were unavailable. The curry rice portion was huge. It's not too spicy. The potato was slightly roasted. The chicken was very crispy and the breaded layer wasnt too thick. But i was disappointed with their service. They came to collect payment the food was served. The staff even question if we paid before we left.

Finally found a chance to visit Equateโ€™s new outlet at Orchard Central. Much more spacious than its first outlet at Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Equate now serves a variety of sandos and pastries as well.

Manifesting a crispy, flakey exterior encasing Gula Melaka ganache within, the ๐—ข๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ต ๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—–๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—ฒ ($7.80) was a joy to savour. Topped with fragrant coconut flakes that carried a slight crunch, this was very delectable.

Although I liked the ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฒ ($5), it wasnโ€™t as robust and aromatic as I remember it to be from Tanjong Pagar. The ๐—ฌ๐˜‚๐˜‡๐˜‚ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ ($7.80) wasnโ€™t my cup of tea (literally, cos my wife ordered it). Its sparkling nature plus matcha tasted weird to me.

Overall a place Iโ€™d definitely return to for the aesthetics, vibes and coffee. @equatecoffee
