The highlight instead was the ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ด ๐ง๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ($7). A generous portion of palatable porcine was swimming in a pool of black braising gravy. The fork-tender pork, infused with all the goodness of the gravy, tasted phenomenal. The textural contrast between the meat and gelatinous skin was also excellent. Probably the best pig trotters Iโve ever had!
The interminable queues at this stall are a testament to its popularity. Thereโs no question that Iโd return, and no prizes for guessing which item Iโd order.

What I like about Eng Keeโs ๐๐ฎ๐ธ ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ต is that it wasnโt overly peppery. The soup possessed a clean-tasting sweetness that was very comforting. With five sizeable pieces of pork ribs inside, the $7 price tag is considered cheap. Each piece was tender and flavourful, though nothing to rave about.

One of the popular stall in this hawker centre which attracts long queue during lunch time. Popular for their bak kut teh and pig trotter.
Since I was here on raining day, so I will first try their bak kut teh first. A peppery type of soup with generous amount of pork ribs included.
The portions is generous, The braised pig trotter is tasty, tender, the gravy thick with a hint chinese wine.
Can skip the bak kut teh.

The bkt stall where everybody orders pig trotter. Your eyes are not lying. This is one portion. It's one trotter per order lol. It's not the best, with significant tough meat, but the size made up for it. The chilli went really well with it.
Was blown away by the portion of the trottersโ this can easily feed 2 people! Meat was super tender and clean (no hair spotted!) while the braising sauce was sufficiently salty. Would have been the best if it had come with some mushrooms and stronger star anise flavour, but hey, at $6.50, this is one of the solid ones Iโve tried in Singapore.
