Really meh for Matcha Roll w Mochi ($5.80) tbh and mochi taste was quite chewy but not much taste, texture really harden a bit. Matcha really weird taste tbh with read bean ?
It's a long time never buy this chocolate bun from Duke bakery and used to buy this bun for a long time ago. But the standard remained the same (normal) and got dark chocolate sauce filling.
I believed that I have bought it ($5.20) b4 and have no chance to eat finish previously π₯². But the bread just got custard texture but a bit moist inside. Matcha taste quite slightly sweet but not much bitter tbh.
I did buy this bread ($6.80) b4 previously so really quite nice but got a bit bitter aftertaste with cream cheese.
I bought the Matcha Red Bean Twist π΅ $5 and my fav Lemon Chiffon Cake π $4.90 is back!! Have been OOS for a few months already
Currently have some promotion going on
This was one of the 2 choices i had when i was there at 8 plus at night. Green tea infused with the pumpkin based bread dough and baked till soft. This luxury bread was filled with lots of gold such as cranberry, blueberry, dried mango, macadamia and most importanly, black goji berry. Super in size with plenty of surprise to make your day with every bite.
πΈ$4.50
Although itβs pricey but even this plain bread is so chewy and soft! Already taste good on its own
We miss the right texture of scones. The scones here taste more like bun (rather soft for our liking). Skip the scones & try their other stuff.π€
Huge amount of goodness in a small bun. You can get a bag of 5 chocolate buns from Duke Bakery. Personally not a fan of chocolates, but this bun definitely ranks up there among one of my favourite chocolate buns. There were lots of fillings and the chocolate was thick and immense. Imagine biting into thick and mildly sweet chocolate. Makes you want to go back for more and certainly Duke Bakery has one of the best breads around! Really baked to perfection!! What I would recommend would be air frying or heating the bun up. Not only will it be crispy, the chocolate inside the bun melts and will flow out! Imagine chocolate lava cake in just a small bun.
Thank God it's Good Friday!
Rise and shine! Here's welcoming the start to the long weekendβa chocolatey breakfast of our favorite molten chocolate buns by Duke Bakery.
I absolutely love freshly baked breads and pastries, and soft buns (no pun intended), so these madly soft and chocolatey buns were perfect. The bread breaks open softly to reveal a rich molten chocolate center of real chocolate chunks that melt in the mouth! I am TOTALLY digging this.
Best of all, it doesn't rip a hole a the wallet. A packet of five goes at a mere $4.50.
Looks like I'll be back for more soon.
I personally find their bread too chewy and yeasty but I know many who love them.
π what's for breakfast? I'll always opt for bread. π this sweet potato bread from duke bakery is one of my favourite (actually most of them are my favπ). Wanted to save some for later but.. I couldn't resist. π³π
This is the taro bread from #dukebakery. Their breads are pretty pricey, ranging from $3.30 to $12 for a loaf. But, it is worth every cent as the quality you get is top notch. What's more, the owner is so generous as to provide samples for EVERY available bread, so you get to taste everything before choosing what you want. We left with a membership card (spend more than $20) and 4 loaves!
Heavenly Artesian Bread. Chocolate Banana/Chocolate Orange/Hades Chocolate. Damage for 3 whole loaves $20+ (but worth every bit of them)
[Chocolate Banana S$8.20 (S$6.55 after opening promotion 20%)] - I had fun trying n tasting their generous piece of samples for each & every bread available on the shelves! I tried Earl Grey because I love Earl Grey but it doesn't have earl grey taste at all. I'm aiming another one which is Red Wine & Chocolate (sliced bread), and it taste really good too!
All of their breads are soft, QQ feel & taste good! ε£ζηηεΎε₯½. I couldn't stop munching on this at my desk while at work, and finished the whole loaf! But this doesn't have any banana taste, but they are chunks of walnuts, not complaining because its satisfying or maybe the tags are placed wrongly.
Passed by again after dinner at 7.30pm, breads are sold out!
But I'm disappointed in my cutting skills/knife because I flattened the bread by 50% after cutting it with a fruit knife. π’πͺπ Such a long 'review'? I think im convert now, bread lover ππ
I thought it sounded good with taro + QQ bubbletea pearls.. but nope, it was the worst Duke bakery bread I have ever eaten. Firstly, the taro paste was only on <5% of the toast. there were even parts of the toast without the taro paste. Secondly bubbletea pearl + the plain bread (without taro paste) was just = plain.
Haha don't buy this guys!
I'm very sad that Duke bakery toast removed their magic stix (a variety of fruits given) since ~2 years ago. Although it is pricey at ~$6.8, it was my favourite item! Now I can only settle for cranberry walnut / orange walnut etc which I don't really fancy either.. #burpple #burpplesg #dukebakery #dukebakery #qqpearl #bubbleteapearl #pearl #food #foodiesg #sgfoodie #whati8today #8dayseat #vscofoodie #iweeklyfood #foodporn #foodstagram #vscofood #foodphotography #sgmakan #sgmakandiary #sgfoodstagram #singaporeeats #exploresingaporeeats #exploresg #sgfoodie
