Chicken Up (Tanjong Pagar)

430 Wishlisted
~$20/pax
Chicken Up, Singapore’s No.1 Korean Fried Chicken, has been home to authentic Korean dishes and the Chicken we all love for seven year now. Known for its unique taste due to its preparation, Chicken Up’s distinct flavour is mainly because each chicken part is treated to a 12 hours marinating process using the original Chicken Up recipe and then deep-fried to seal in the flavours. This process ensures that every piece is bursting with succulent juices and tenderness to create a great satisfying taste. Chicken Up started in 2010 in Singapore with a vision to provide a casual dining experience and introduce some of the authentic Korean cuisines in the country.

Bulgogi fries @ $18++
Kimchi pancake @ $14++
YY wings @ $12++

Food was good though not exceptional. Portion was good and satisfying for two of us. We got the wings that come in 4pcs (and quite big sized) rather than the fried chicken option that has both drumlets and wings. And they also have the boneless popcorn option though we think that's not really worth the price.

Will be back with a bigger group to enjoy the bigger portions of food (like the stew).

This was a mix of grapefruit soju, vodka and grapefruit. Really enjoyed it! It had a bit too much ice so was difficult to drink at the start (brain freeze). But once it was almost melted, LOVED IT! Damage = $20 but totally worth it

We got the YY up, seafood toppoki (slightly spicy), corn cheese and spam rice ball. A little too much for 3 of us but still enjoyed it. Loved the chicken!

We’ve been to Chicken Up several times and they don’t disappoint! They serve rly nicely marinated fried Korean chicken (the flavour yangnyum is worth trying). We also tried their spam rice balls (which we love) and yangpa bomb (aka onion bomb but be wary it can be quite spicy after awhile).

They have good deals for drinks too! Tried their watermelon soju once and it was great. Makgeoli was pretty good too!

Definitely go for the Soya (Ganjang)! The Original (Crispy Up) was well, ordinary.
