Changi Nasi Lemak

Tried the chicken wing set ($3.9) & mala fried fish set ($4.8) and was quite satisfied with their fragrant & fluffy rice, though it got a little oily at the end. They are famous for their legendary Changi Chilli 🌶 which has a tinge of sweetness within the spice. Could do with more spiciness but would still consider it a good rated chilli! ⁣⁣

The fried chicken batter has an awesome crunch & I wouldn’t mind just having wings top-ups in future😝 Was disappointed with the mala fish though, as the fish had turned all soggy when i packed it home. Not sure if the quality would be better if u have it on the spot. The mala sauce was acceptable too but wasn’t spectacular. ⁣⁣

The sunny side up 🍳 and ikan bilis (anchovies ) were quite well done, and would still rate it as a decent plate of shiokness when nasi lemak cravings kick in👍🏻 Recommend sticking to their original set & devour their really good & crispy chicken wings🤤

Hawker food FTW!

I have read about them across social media recently and decided to come and try it.

There’s already a queue but not really long. Their staffs was friendly and it was pleasant ordering foods from them.

I got the set A which comes with their signature chicken cutlet, fish fillet, egg, ikan bilis and the chilli sauce for $5.60.

The chicken cutlet was really juicy and wasn’t oily. Definitely worth taking the trip over.

Definitely a gem. The chilli is said to be tailor made for Nasi Lemak and it does seem the case.

The coconut rice is addictively fragrant.

Wing is succulent on the inside and the mcspicy inspired cutlet does taste 80% like the original.

Rice was bursting with fragrance and the chilli was good. The chicken wings were down right disappointing. So much batter and it wasn’t even fried to crispy perfection.
