Love the selection of sauces available for the fries! Ordered the shark burger: cheese, vegetables and a delightful sauce compressed together with the deep fried shark patty.
Burger Monster is a new restaurant at level 1 of Jurong East MRT station that serves Korean-style burgers, fried chicken and fried fish. The burgers are much bigger than McDonald and the signature Monster Burger is a 10-inch humongous burger meant to be shared by 2-4 people. The fried chicken are of the drier kind (think 4Fingers) and the fried fish are an interesting addition. Please read my review at wwww.hungryghost.sg
It is not easy to find a burger joint who sell shark burger like this one. It comes with a spicy sauce in it but fell free to add on other sauce. ($6)
Opt for set meal ($3) for a side dish and drink. I personally recommend you to get the garlic rice, because it taste great with the shark meat.
For brains behind Chicken Up have ventured into burgers, this time setting up Burger Monster at Jurong East MRT Station. You'll find typical fast food options like burgers and fried chicken, prepared with a Korean slant. Expect the likes of Bulgogi Beef Roll ($3), Fried Chicken Burger ($5) and Fried Chicken Wings ($8 for six). The one thing to try, if your friends and appetites are up for it, is the Monster Burger ($20). The 20cm burger is made to share among three to four, and sees a mountain of well-cooked sliced beef bulgogi, caramelised onions, cheese and veggies, sandwiched between two gargantuan buns — insanely filling, but delicious and fun. It's also available in a fish option if you don't fancy beef. Pro-tip: Spice up your meal with sauces from the self-serve condiment dispenser, with choices like spicy yangnyum, wasabi mayo and bulgogi BBQ.
Avg price: $10

Lettuce, sliced beef, 2 types of cheese, onions and peppers? Or was that green chili? The chicken burger came with tomatoes instead of the unidentified green food. They’re open to takeaways too if you can’t finish your meal.
$20 (excluding GST, no service charge) for a huge ass 22cm burger! Choose between beef or chicken. I got both. Sides and drinks are sold separately. They have a condiment dispenser machine with like 5-6 sauces that you can help yourself FOC. There was no need for that as the meat was very well marinated. I went to Monster Burger, mentally prepared that the burger is gonna look better than it tastes but I was wrong. Was surprised to see that the beef burger came with thinly sliced beef instead of minced beef patty. The chicken burger came with 4 huge chunks of chicken thigh. I hope they run another 1 for 1 promo again cos it was so damn worth it!
