They have been serving their dim sum in Chinatown for many years, unfortunately they will be leaving this place and move to Changi Village by end of August.
So if you are happen to be in Chinatown before 26th August looking for some local delights, do support them.
They started as a dim sum shop, so of course you must grab some of their dim sum selections.
There wasn't many options but the essential items remain in the menu.
This seems like a normal dim sum place, but you probably realised that most of the staff here are men.
That's because this place is run by a Christian mission organisation, to provide job opportunities for the reformed ex-convicts.
Offering Asian cuisine such as this mee siam. Which is considered a good standard of mee siam you can have here.
Hidden dim sum place run by ex-convicts which is nice and affordable! Might see a little queue during lunch time on weekdays but queue moves fast.
Was introduced to this by my colleague and am back for the third time! Spent around $15/pax for 3
Love the variety from dim sum to mains eg curry chicken / sesame chicken / nasi lemak
Egg tarts can be sold out so do ask them to check when you’re ordering.
Happy Father’s Day!
Had an advanced celebration with this Father’s Day Set from Breakthrough Cafe, a non-profit social enterprise under religious organization Breakthrough mission, to help former drug addicts reintegrate into society through providing employment opportunities. Coincidentally, mum had always wanted to support them, while not knowing that they serve Chinese dishes that were some of dad’s favourite.
At $87 nett, the Father’s Day set feeds up to 6, with 6 portions of rice and 5 different dishes; Otah, curry fish head (large), vinegar pig’s trotter, sesame chicken and mixed vegetables with fermented fish sauce. Dad felt that the curry fish head seemed like it had an Assam element with pineapple slices added to the thick, creamy curry. Personally enjoyed the sesame chicken that was really tender, and the spiciness of both shredded and sliced ginger. Not a fan of vinegar pig’s trotter, but this one was particularly sweet, though the gigantic trotter was kinda intimidating. 😂
Islandwide delivery is still available in Phase 2. Delivery charge was included for this set. Check out their Facebook page at Breakthrough Cafeteria for more details.

A dim sum joint that provides employment to ex-convicts. Good value dim sum.
