[CLOSED] Big Bern's American Grill (Timbre+)

I miss this so much. Used to eat this once a week 10 years ago.

Every bite is so nostalgic, bringing me back to memories from when botak jones was around.

$17.50 for 2 sliders, 2 sides and an ice lemon tea. I’m not a beef eater so I am unsure how similar does this taste to beef but the sliders tasted quite good. Good but not outstanding so I think it’s worth a try but I do think it’s quite pricy. Sides and drinks were average.

Mistook that the Fish & chips lunch platter $7.90 contain chips already. So we pick 2 non-chip item as side dishes (baked bean & pasta salad). We found the sweet palette is going strong for the combination and it would be better to have slightly salty chips to balance! 😔 Iced Lemon tea (non-sweet) coming with the Set saves our day!! 🤩

Big Bern’s, previously known as Botak Jones, is a food truck operating in Timbre+ serving western cuisine such as their iconic grilled Cajun Chicken with two sides at only $6.90, a price that’s almost unimaginable in our current economy. If you are feeling hungry, you can even opt for the Regular portion as mine is only the downsized one but it’s already very filling with the massive amount of Cajun spiced fries (something that got them really famous back then) and a side of coleslaw. Overall, it was decent and comes with a hearty portion, hence, do not expect the flavours to be mind blowing when you are only paying less than $10 for that amount of food.

Simple, tasty slab of well grilled meat. What else can I say? Definitely for the meat-eaters.
