From a zichar stall along Hup Hup's row. It's swimming in the broth and every component was fine. I appreciate the large fish slices.

Quite long never eat this. So flavourful and rather wet.

While most people prefer another yong tau foo stall at this food centre with long queue, there’s also this stall that sell the same thing as well.

Jia Jia Yong Tau Foo is also serving decent yong tau foo with lots of items to choose from. Fried items are separated if you choose the soup version.

The soup is tasty and I β€œupgrade” my meal with a bowl of Zhajiangmian.

($4.50) it's a long time never eat lor mee for a while. but the soup broth still got that warm. But the ingredients still give plenty only.

You could easily spot this stall named the 99 Fried Hokkien Mee, that also serve other dish like fried carrot cake as well.

A plate of fried Hokkien mee full with wok hey and delicious. Comes with few pieces of prawn. Squeeze the lime and mix everything with the chilli paste.

The springy noodles and savoury sauce were good too, but the wantons were the surprise stars. Though small, they were filled with minced pork and crunchy prawns. Most wanton mee stalls don’t put prawns in their wantons, so I was impressed. The char siew may not be perfect (though still quite good), but the wantons are worth a visit!
