This was ok. The eggs were small but they were really nice to already cut the sourdough into two before serving us as they knew we were sharing it.

I wish they would warm their bread before serving us though (including the starter they served)

Overall So France had a nice concept, great service but average food at slightly higher price points compared to other cafes around.

It was a pretty good sandwich but we also ordered the Cochon sandwich it was the same bread and ingredients (just the star is different) a bit jelat. I liked the additions of the foie gras but I was expecting it to be like pate styles but it was pan fried in cubes.

If I were to choose, I would choose the cochon sandwich cos I really liked their mustard that came with it. But I’m not the biggest fan of duck around.

Their salads is also the same for all dishes served so things got a bit repetitive.

Creme fraiche was yummy. It was a good crepe but I wouldn’t say it’s the best around. A few of my companions mentioned it was weird to have soggy crepes and they preferred slightly crispier ones.

Pretty worth it. Rice is not included. We paid about $15 for the set and one rice. Soup is a little salty but overall still yummy.

This was part of their daily specials. I gotta say this was really good too. Everything went well and was very good as a starter to share.

Sooo good but I would love it if it has more sauce.

But texture of the fresh pasta is amazing. For the price, I would think it is a little expensive cos you can get something similar at pasta bar down the road for a cheaper price but you will need to book in advance.

Overall bar cicheti is great still but I very much prefer pasta bar but its a close second.

Very very normal. Maybe even bland. No queue as they have an electronic queuing number system so you can sit and wait. That being said, the wait is really long for a mediocre bowl of fish soup.

Will not return specially for this but may go back if I’m in the vicinity for a simple meal.

I think it’s an ok pho? There’s no mint leaves and I vaguely remembered they used to have burpple or entertainer 1 for 1 but not anymore. I personally prefer nam nam broth for these fast food/chain Vietnamese fare

Absolutely shitty service during lunchtimes. They are obviously understaffed. 9/10 times you ask them for something they will forget. I can’t fault them much cos I can see that they are really always intercepted/distracted by something else. The kitchen is also likely to be understaffed too cos the food takes 30-40 min to arrive. Even for this tom yum soup with no carbs involved.

Not the usual authentic Tomyum soup, it tastes more... stock? Really disappointing for a seafood tom yum soup. There were 3 pieces of fish, 3 prawns and 3 mussels. I thought it was quite odd there were no squid but that’s not too bad. The fish was still cold on the inside when they first served. Although they were cooked but I guess they didn’t heat it up enough? I had to push the fish slices to the bottom of the soup and eat them later.

Their food can be hit and miss, very crowded during lunch times on weekdays but dont expect top service and be prepared to wait for your food

Surprisingly good find near my hood in a old kopitiam style with only one other prawn mee stall which was not open when I visited other than the usual drinks stall.

Wok hei is there, cockles are juicy + plump. I felt like the cockles were cooked just right my companion thought they were a bit over. They are on the sweeter side but not as sweet as laofuzi. I feel like they can do with more eggs.

Was really happy with this find tbh but that was until we saw a rat climbing across the top of the electrical wiring before it went missing into some of their crockery...... will be looking for my next new favourite ckt then

Finally got to try this place! Reservations is highly recommended! I booked early dec but was only able to get a slot on new year’s day.

Unfortunately for me, going on new year’s day also meant that Japan is on holiday and there was no fresh shipment of fish arriving. Most fishes were out including the uni. I was looking forward to the variety.

They replaced it with more of the other fish and I requested for more of swordfish sashimi.

Overall thick slices and value for money. They are also very generous with their sashimi slices. I would say it is very value for money at 20+$. Depending on the occasion, for a normal sashimi craving where you value quantity this would be perfect.

This sounded really odd but it’s surprisingly very good. Never had kangkong in a sandwich before but it worked really well. Iirc it’s about $11 for this which is reasonable for brunch
