I order Signature BCM ($8) w set meal - braised pork tofu + iced lemon tea ($3.50). But I did opt out for non-spicy bc I don't really like to eat spicy lol but their sweet sauce slightly too much and need to add some spicy lol. I can skip to order their side dish nxt time if you got extra budget lol.
With pork belly, beancurd roll, inari, meatballs. This Japanese bcm has expanded from hawker centre into a chain. This bowl basically mimicks ramen, using mee kia. The soup was clearly yuzu, but the shoyu was missing. I would say pork belly is as good as the pricier pork shoulder.
With pork shoulder, beancurd roll, inari, meatballs, onsen egg. This Japanese bcm has expanded from hawker centre into a chain. I couldn't tell if the seasoning was shoyu, but it's definitely spicy. The pork shoulder was marinated and decent, but not superior to the cheaper pork belly. The other ingredients all made it interesting. Yellow card for the egg, which wasn't runny. The star however was the perfectly al dente mee pok.
Signature Japanese fusion Bak Chor Mee. Served with Miso Soup.
Comes with 2 large slices of Chasu meat.
Really delicious, having an onsen egg stirred in made the noodle texture heavier, with the minced meat stuck to the noodles, so every bite of noodles had minced meat in them.
4/5 rating for me, really can try.
Such a sinful bowl of goodness. Not only did they do their noodles well, their braised pork rice is also really good. Eat 3 Bowl might be better but this is good enough to curb my cravings.
Expected Damage: $5
This is a local and Jap fusion bar chor mee. The char siew is well seared and the onsen egg helps the noodle to stay in their strands instead of clumping all together. I love how much ingredients I get to enjoy in just one bowl. The staff are really friendly and it’s always a pleasant visit.
Expected Damage: $7-10/ bowl
