A familiar Taiwanese restaurant in Downtown East. Gotten their mee sua with gong wan, which is pork ball made from minced pork.
Do add vinegar and chilli to maximise the taste of the mee sua.
This was very different from the one at Kovan. Maybe the franchisee can do whatever they want. We enjoyed it - probably because we're sharing lol.
The chicken cutlet was deep fried to a crisp but was still tender and moist inside. Batter versus the meat was low and the chilli powder spinkled over the chicken had a tinge of spiciness.
I like their milk tea, it gives me the nostalgic feel. You can’t choose the level of sweetness, but I personally feel that their sweetness is always on point. I’ve requested for lesser pearls (not a fan of pearls), their pearls are quite soft and less chewy. (S$2.50).
The braised chicken thigh is tender and soft, not sure what sauce was added but is fragrant. Served with a decent fried rice. (S$7.50).
