Tried this Korean fried chicken in Clementi before heading for Singjazz pop up in school. Got the garlic soy flavour, not impressed though it was decent enough. Sweet and the garlicky taste wasn't strong. Crispy, liked that it wasn't greasy but it was slightly dry.

(any one from Clementi here?) Place not as hip as Clementi Mall, but If you are looking for affordable and Mashisoyo Korean Fried Chicken in the west, it is time to vroom to Vons Chicken.

Long time never come here.
Trying out VONS chicken.
Popular Korean Fried Chicken, Vons Chicken, with more than 150 outlets worldwide (USA, China, Australia etc) since 1989 had opened their first outlet in Singapore at 321 Clementi Ave 3.

Not bad, a casual fuss-free Korean Fried Chicken concept. Love the sauces.

The signature here is the Golden Wings - Garlic Soy. I haven't tried that many Korean wings in Singapore but this was good, crispy, hot and evenly coated with garlic soy. I loved the fries a lot more though! I think it's some kind of seasoning and pepper, it was fragrant and addictive. $9.90 for a set with drink and a top up of $1 for upsize.

Sad to say, the only thing worth raving about had nothing to do with chicken. It was in fact the fries and have-yet-to-be-released mustard sauce that were addictive. •

The Gold Wings (garlic soy sauce) was way too salty, the Barbeque Boneless didn't have any BBQ taste and the original was dependent on the sauces that accompanied. If they had advertised their BBQ sauce as simply hot sauce and were less heavy on the hand with the salt, the wings would be half good.

The cheesey potato balls was my favourite. The chicken was meh... The boneless chicken was sort of okay. Skip the chicken wings.
