And the 3 ways to eat it. Love it with the broth. It's v well grilled here, charred at the right places and crispy. Queue is long on a Friday night. Waited at least 45min. (~$25 per pax)
Kaisen hitsumabushi @ $18.80++
It's quite difficult to go wrong with unagi don so i would say this is quite average. Pricing was alright but would have preferred a bit more unagi and sashimi. The sashimi was alright though I wouldn't say it's super fresh.
One my favourites is kaisendon and this combines both by having unagi and sashimi. The unagi was char-grilled beautifully and have a nice crisp texture with a tinge of sweetness from the sauce. The hitsumabushi can be enjoyed 3 ways - start with savouring its original taste, follow by complementing it with condiments; and lastly, add dashi and transform it into an ochazuke fare. A nice comforting and warm meal overall.
LOVED THIS so much. So worth the money and rly good quality! The staff were very friendly too which make the experience a lot more enjoyable. They recommended 3 ways to eat this (my favourite was with the dashi stock - perfect for a rainy day)
Throwback to post cycling meal — immense craving for unagi/salmon and we headed towards @unauna.sg at Suntec for Jap cusines!
If you’re a fan of unagi, order the Hitsumanushi bowl which offers pretty decent quality bowl in different sizes! 👍🏻

My second time at Una Una but the first time at their second outlet in Suntec City, inside the premise of Eat At Seven.
Spicy Unaju is what you could expected, juicy meat with spicy flavours. Be mindful that their unaju comes with lots of soft bones. The meal also accompanied with chawanmushi.
