tried it at the vivo city outlet after hearing the news of them ceasing operations soon 🥲 lei cha with rice is nothing new to me but with kolomee’s a first and i like it even better??! the noodles were springy and coated in a sauce that wasn’t too heavy-tasting. super flavourful and yumz paired with the tea, which was a lil bland on its own.
one gripe i had was that the ingredients were all kinda soft in texture, even the peanuts :’) wish there was some crunch or variation in texture!
This was such a wholesome and delicious bowl of noodles! The noodles were springy and generously portioned, and the vegetables all tasted clean, fresh and crunchy. The chilli is quite spicy and they only provide a little upon request. The staff there were super friendly as well. A pity it’ll be closing end May since their farm is closing :( will savour it while it’s still around!
🍴Who’s a fan of Lei Cha? 🙋🏻♀️ Using mostly organic ingredients, this vegan bowl included a mix of braised peanuts, tofu, preserved radish, and vegetables atop brown rice. Although the sauce was herbaceous, it was less robust than we like. Additionally, we felt that the components were all varying levels of “soft”, and some fried ikan billis or crunchy peanuts would have been better for textural contrast.
Tanglin Halt’s lei cha remains unbeatable, but this rendition adequately satisfied our clean and healthy food cravings.

Omg the wonton is so yummy like i was just wishing they sell can pack for me to snack on!! The noodles are springyyyyyy tooooooooooooooooo NICE
This $8 meal packs a punch! The crunchiness of the peanuts, the saltiness of the salted veggies, the chewiness of the green beans and the tinge of sweetness to the Lei Cha (Thunder Tea) was just perfect. Really enjoyed the burst of flavours in every bite that I took! This is nestled within one of the open Hawker centres at the ground level of People’s Park Centre
This pic doesn’t do it justice at all bc THIS IS SOOO TASTY?!? First time trying leicha with noodles instead of rice and I loved it!! The noodles was really springy and flavourful, topped with peanuts, beans, taukwa and veggies. Comes with a side of leicha of cos but I would say it’s quite an acquired taste
