This was such a wholesome and delicious bowl of noodles! The noodles were springy and generously portioned, and the vegetables all tasted clean, fresh and crunchy. The chilli is quite spicy and they only provide a little upon request. The staff there were super friendly as well. A pity it’ll be closing end May since their farm is closing :( will savour it while it’s still around!
This is HUGE, larger than the size of my palm! True to its name, the exterior is crispy and pretty thin, considering the amount of filling inside.
The puff was warm when served, and the crust is so fragrant and buttery without feeling too greasy. The consistency of the filling was perfect as well, more like a curry paste with potato instead of potato chunks. I would have preferred the curry to be spicier with a larger slice of egg. Not sure if it’s just the piece I took, but there was only a small piece of chicken inside :(
Would have to say that they take pride in ensuring that the puffs are in perfect condition before serving. The lady serving me was shifting one piece away from the rest and when asked, she replied me that it’s not good enough to serve. That curry puff had one area of the skin that was slightly more brown (not even charred). I honestly wouldn’t have minded but kudos to them for their high standards!
Frankly this is not the best curry puff I’ve had, but it’s definitely one of the better one, do give it a try!
At 8pm, it’s one of the few healthier options that are still open in Amoy. Had this fish soup from Rong Teochew Fish Porridge on level 1. Soup was lightly flavoured, and fish slices were thick and fresh. For an additional $2 added for fish maw, there were only 2 pieces in the soup, which I remember used to be more in the past… Still a nice comforting meal at night.
The dumplings were all so plump and juicy! The chilli oil really packed a punch and was numbing as well. At $5, you get 12 deliciously huge dumplings, definitely a good deal!
This is my 3rd time eating here in a month and standard has been pretty consistent so far! The noodles are perfectly cooked and springy, there was enough sauce to coat all the noodles and the lard was still very fragrant and crispy! I felt that the chilli is not spicy enough, but after asking to add more vinegar in the noodles, the noodles were perfect for me ❤️ Ordered takeaway for their noodle soup, and felt that the soup was on the light side (not sure if it’s because I bought at 10am) and I didn’t quite like the taste of the noodles in the soup. Think I’ll still stick to the dry version ☺️
Queued for around 40mins on a weekend afternoon. Ordered extra spicy in Medium size ($12), but the chilli wasn’t really spicy and have the kick that I prefer (for a mala comparison, it was probably not even a 小辣).
Personally felt that the components don’t go well together although they were well prepared individually. The noodles were pretty salty, but has a nice springy chew. The small bowl of soup, egg and the chashu was the star for me. The soup was so flavourful with what seemed like pieces of pulled pork inside and reminds me of a cross between bak kut teh and bak chor mee soup. The egg was so perfectly made with a flavourful yolky centre 🥺 the chashu was so tender as well and beats many ramen places! The fried potato ball was a bit of a novelty, but not crispy or crunchy enough to me. Wantons were packed full of prawns with a thin layer of skin, but felt like it doesn’t go well with the sauce of the noodles.
Overall, would prolly come back just to dabao the egg and chashu to eat with ramen or something 😝 hope one day the owners would make a soup ramen version and i’m alrdy drooling at the thought of having a huge bowl of that delicious soup to slurp on...

Waiting time of 40mins on a Fri night. BBQ wings were hot, juicy and fall of the bone tender. Personally preferred the Chong Pang BBQ wings at the same hawker centre as that chilli was better and marinated better, but this was pretty good as well, with some nice char on the outside.
Ordered 4 chicken and 4 pork satay, but both were mediocre. Pieces were dry and hard, and cooked unevenly. Would not recommend.
Please arrive earlier if you want to eat the Pork Trotters!! It was sold out when I went near to the closing time 🥺 the BKT was deliciously peppery and meaty. The meat was really tender although we got the normal one. While there’s unlimited free refills, the first bowl tasted different from the refills. The first bowl had a strong meaty taste and really savoury, but the refills were just peppery and quite bland 😢
The preserved vegetable was more on the savoury side compared to the sour kind. I personally prefer the sour kind, but my partner loved this.
The pork belly was pretty good, the meats were perfectly marinated and absorbed the sauce, while not being too salty. The bigger pieces were quite tough, but paired with the delicious fatty skin... omggg 🤤🤤
Overall, a really satisfying meal and would love to try the pork knucles and premium pork ribs in the future!
Yummy and value-for-money chicken cutlet ($4.80). Asked for the lady to take out the mayo and add more cheese 😋 while they are very generous with the cheese, it can make the crispy skin soggy. Still very delicious! Chicken cutlet was juicy and thick. Really worth it!
The Xiao Long Bao was delicious as usual, but one broke before we got to dig in 😢 the Red Bean Pancake was surprisingly delicious. The bread part tasted like a butterfry, with some red bean inside. The sesame seeds made it really fragrant as well. Please give it a try if you happen to be around 😊
This hearty bowl of goodness really hits the spot. The noodles were perfectly cooked with enough sauce to coat every strand. The noodles will slowly soak up the sauce, which makes it more delicious as you eat it! Portion is a little small, but you can save your stomach space for the beancurd stall in this coffee shop!
They had the $6/$8/$10 options but I went with the $6 one. The $8 and $10 came with a larger bowl of soup with ingredients inside while the $6 one is just a tiny bowl 😅
Noodles cooked perfectly al-dente and wanton was nice and meaty. The portion of meat was quite generous and the salted fish on top provided a nice crunch. But would I queue and pay $6 for this? I would say this was worth trying once but I will go to other places to satisfy my bak chor mee cravings. While the bowl was huge, portion was quite little.
Pretty decent bowl of bibimbap, with the vegetables still retaining a crunch and the chicken freshy cooked before serving. Asked for extra kimchi and the kind lady added it into the bowl for me to mix it up ☺️ kimchi is not sour and a little salty, complementing the crunch of the other veggies and the meat. Not a bad meal when you’re looking for a filling and affordable meal late at night (I usually go around 9pm+ and it’s one of the few stalls still open) The plastic cutlery made it quite hard to mix though, so just be careful not to break them while mixing.
