Take note, Thiam Yian is currently located at :1004 Upper Serangoon Rd, Singapore 534742

The ondeh ondeh cake @$10 is the most expensive cake here at Thiam Yian

This ondeh ondeh cake is as good, if not, even better then those sold at cafes.

And @$10, u can have the entire block.

Open since 1988, if open for over 39 years, surely their bakes can't go wrong yes.

1. Banana cake
It was soft and slightly moist.

2. Pandan Kaya cake
It was soft and the pandan "pudding" was good, not very sweet, and certainly have that old school nostalgic taste from childhood

Aunty's very friendly.

I walked up the street and found this old school bakery.
Chocolate Swiss roll $3 YES THE WHOLE ROLL COSTS $3
And a Pandan layered cake $1.30
The chocolate swiss roll was light and spongey. The buttercream was soft and buttery. But tasted more like they had mixed in fresh cream into it, which left me quizzical. 🤔

The Pandan layered cake was so awesome. 😊 The green Pandan layers had a strong Pandan aroma and had a light salty taste to it. The cake layers were moist and tasted great!
All in all, when Melissa is sick. Cakes are the best meds! 👍

All of this was washed down with some legit Thai Milk Tea from @geneoxide 😘
