Locally there are various sauces for ccf, such as curry and mushroom, so I mixed them all. It made for an entertaining eat, not to mention Ipoh's famous rice noodle elevated it.
Ipoh's beansprouts are so legendary you can have them anytime. The horfun was definitely more interesting and yummy than Singapore's Ipoh horfun.
Their version has some interesting ingredients, such as crackers, but there are also some very raw stuff, which put us off.
This place brings back nostalgia.. been visiting this place since my high school days

Liked that it had slight caramelisation and wasn’t too sweet. It’s enjoyable and I would recommend giving it a try when in Ipoh. Thean chun also has other food stalls available like chicken hor fun and Chee cheong fun
