Said to be inspired by the cooking style of teochew fish porridge and steamed pomfret. The soup has got a good mix of ingredients like barramundi, nuts, kiam chye and tofu. However, i did not finish the soup as it was a tad too salty to my liking
Love love the soup selection from soup spoon. Pick for this time round is tokyo chicken. Chicken was simmered in light broth with tons of ingredient such as lotus roots, raddish, bamboo shoots, carrots and mushroom. All soup came with a bread roll to add on the carbs.

Taste very black peppery! Had the big bowl. I googled: Calories 388cal | Protein 30g | Carbohydrates 42g | Fat 10g. Haha... Eat healthier and less calories before CNY.
(Over)ordered at soup spoon, trying out for the first time the Salmon miso jjigae with a side of quinoa salad. Great japanese miso flavours. So much ingredients in the soup I was already full after drinking the the soup! They were really generous with the salmon chunks!Not so much of korean stew taste, maybe the straw mushrooms? π Quinoa salad was a refreshing match to the hearty salmon soup! Crunchy quinoa with fresh veges and edamame beans! π
