More Reviews of good food at Taste Of Thailand

The hot plate tofu at Taste of Thailand is undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever had.

The gravy sauce was slightly spicy and incredibly flavorful, adding the perfect kick to the dish.

The aroma was enticing, and the taste lived up to the promise—absolutely delicious.

The tofu was silky smooth, and the runny eggs paired flawlessly with the rich, savory gravy.

The centerpiece of tom yum soup is the soup, period. The good ones are electrifying yet not choking. This soup here was actually good.

I love Thai tang hoon. But I can usually skip the prawns, which I did.

I miss the times in Thailand we always ordered this. It's awesome and cheap there. Unfortunately this just wasn't as good.

I know it looks lame, but the soup was so tasty. The other ingredients were quite straightforward.

Shiok. Calamari is usually too much a luxury to order. When in a group, must order!

Pineapple fried rice ($5) | Cereal prawn ($20, small) | Thai deep fried fish delight ($22, small) | Deep fried cuttlefish ($15, small) | Nai bai veg w/ oyster sauce ($8, small)

The pineapple fried rice, fish and cuttlefish really stand out for me 👌🏻😋

Perfect for family dinner, this place offers some mean Thai food, and we particularly liked their flavourful pineapple fried rice ($5), topped generously with floss.

Their other dishes: Tom yum soup ($8), Thai horfun ($5) came with lotsa fresh squid, clams, prawn. Lastly, the honey chicken ($12) was crispy and just the right level of sweet.

#supportlocal, especially during this phase 2HA. this place is perfect to cycle to if you're in the Bishan/Marymount area

Basil Pork Rice (S$5)
Thai Fried Kway Teow (S$5)
Thai Fried Mee Tai Mak (S$5)
Green Curry Chicken Rice (S$5)

Food was not bad although cooking style was quite different from the Chong Pang’s Bei Sheng.
My no-no : bean sprouts’ hulls and prawns’ shells not removed.

first located at old semb shopping centre food court, the taste didn’t change much still after shifting places and opening more outlets. still keeping it at affordable price and decent portion. homely taste and feeling nostalgic. they only need to serve thai milk tea, that will complete my meal!! bought thai milk tea from nana thai located opposite of taste of thailand 🤣 #jxeatsrecommend

Nestled somewhere in Thomson, about 8 mins walk from Thomson plaza, is this tzechar place boosting the crispiest Deep Fried Fish with sweet & spicy chili, tantalisingly sour Tomyum Soup, their stir fry Tanghoon, and their crispy Calamari!! These dishes were a hit with us, especially the Deep Fried Fish, which we ordered 2 of, and wiped it clean to the bone. It's similar to fish and chips, only more tender.

The only miss was the Basil Chicken with long beans, with the basil taste being too overwhelming for us. This spread for ~$20 each. Worth the trip.

Sad to say they are closing down the Yishun (Not Chong Pang) branch the next day after we ate there! Food was good, affordable ($90+ in total) and even have some special dishes such as deer meat! I personally like the Fish Maw Soup and the Braised Tofu dish the best!😍

Located in the Yishun Industrial Park and still not that accessible yet, but soon it will be with the Canberra MRT station under construction nearby, I am surprised by how the entire coffee shop that houses Taste of Thailand got fully occupied on a weekend! There were even people waiting for tables during dinner time, and guess what, its popularity was so evident because all other stalls were closed.

I was told that this deep fried fish is a must try at Taste of Thailand. True enough, this fish was spotted on almost every table, although it looks a little hideous. What was really fascinating was how the fish was deboned and how the entire fish was covered in batter such that with every bite, there's both a crispy exterior and soft fish meat that follows after. The deboning makes it easier to pick out the meat without bones. Of course, the fin areas were a little more complex but really really crispy.

Be sure to dip the sweet chili to give it some kick, though the sauce was on a sweeter than spicy side. Adds more flavour rather than just a monotonous fried taste!

Been here a dozen of times. Their deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce will always be our favorite. Secondly will be their fried sotong. Fried till a golden crisp and it was such pleasure eating them.

I didn't like their tom yum soup as it was missing the sourly taste. The stir fried glass noodle was just a failure. .

HOWEVER, for less than $60 for a dinner of 5, it was still worth it.

Under $30 meal for 4 with hotplate tofu, deep-fried fish with spicy sauce and tom yum soup. #cuisineparadiseeatout #burpple

This is our second time at taste of Thailand, expectations are higher then ever. The cuttle fish proved to be one of the best dishes! Keep the MSG coming!

Missing from pic is fried squid as it came much later. #thaifood #burpple #tasteofthailand

Their fried cuttlefish and fish are one of the must-try here! Yummy dinner 😋
