I stopped eating here for years but now Tampopo turns 50 so they have a promotion going on now. Got this ramen at 20% off.
Tonkotsu soup with tons of black pig Shabu Shabu, ramen egg, corn, bamboo shoots and lettuce. Ordered the spicy version but honestly the non-spicy version was better in my opinion.
I’m a sucker for tonkotsu soup so I might be biased, but this soup was just rich and creamy almost like milk. Everything else was up to par. Just a good solid bowl of ramen. Would come back again.
my favourite teriyaki chicken with minced meat and tamago rice bowl. It seems like all rice set comes with chawanmushi now! And they also have orders made on the spot! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť (but the prices seemed to have increased) (they still have the takeaway choice and you microwave it yourself option though) #tampopodeli #liangcourt #burpple #burpplesg
Al dente udon in collagen soup. The soup tasted abit salty at first but was bearable with a few more mouthful. The cashier recommended this to me when i asked him which one got more orders.
I wanted to have something sweet, so I chanced upon the Signature Cream Puff of Tampopo Deli. I think this is worth every cent of S$5.30 for 2 cream puffs, because the custard cream is think but not too sweet. Check out how thin the skin of the cream puff is, and you know that this is a loaded dessert that can be added on to those satisfying bento and don.
Good tasting Udon with collagen soup. Must try bukakke Udon if you enjoy noodles with cold soup. Very refreshing in our summer heat. Visit http://theaugbunnies.blogspot.com/2016/01/food-review-tampopo-deli-affordable.html for in depth review
Less than $10 for this bowl of goodness. The fatty char siew almost melts in the mouth.
