Tai Chong Kok (Chinatown)

This is quite nice - there are more roasted almonds, but also much sweeter compared to tai thong’s. There’s a greater proportion of candied components, which contributes to the sweetness. This is like the showier, overcompensating cousin of tai thong. Prefer tai thong’s but this is still good if you want something heavier.

Very interesting. There's still lotus paste, but there's also lava. I don't know how they maintain the texture.

Get these good piggies from tai chong kok! Old-tradition chinese bake house never gets it wrong! These piggies definitely looked more defined, with better taste than the $0.50 ones from supermarkets!!
