We read previous reviews and were really looking forward to their truffle pasta but it wasn’t on the menu anymore. With only 4 pasta options, we selected the pescatore and laksa pasta to try. The pescatore was mediocre; the sauce wasn’t as flavorful as we expected it to be and the pasta was not al dante. However, the prawns were really juicy and fresh. The laksa pasta was the saving grace because the sauce was really fragrant and flavorful. Each strand of pasta was generously coated with the sauce and the tiger prawns were really sweet! We wiped the plate clean. However, we agreed that even with burpple 1 for 1, the two pasta dishes were not worth $30 (GST included).
Had carbonara and the serving is awesome. They are very generous with the bacon. Truffle fries is awesome too!
Laksa pasta was really good cause it tasted like mee siam
On a side note, I’m lacking some table manners

7.5/10. Decent serving with rich seafood broth, you can practically smell the sea from the dish. mussels and prawns were so fresh and sweet 🤤🤤🤤definitely worth it with 1-4-1 Beyond
But sadly the prawns were ‘fishy’ 😔

Coconut Braised Short Rib ($28) - I was full with ‘dissatisfaction’ as commented by my girl. The chunky australian beef short rib tasted so much like the braised pork can food. Totally disappointed 😞

A pretty decent plate of pasta, nothing much to shout about. Though the prawns were fresh, I wasn’t exactly fond of how they were executed. Perhaps peeling off some of the prawn shell and having the crispy crust over the meat might help 😂? I wished there was more of that truffle fragrance too...

Grab a colleague for lunch at this casual Western restaurant if you work around Changi Business Park. Popular with the Burpple community is the fragrant Laksa Tiger Prawn Pasta ($18), which comes with a fresh tiger prawn. On burgers, opt for the Boston ($19), consisting of juicy beef patty, fried bacon, melted brie and habanero jam.

Laksa sauce was a little too runny for a pasta dish for my liking, felt a little thicker than normal laksa soup. Wasn’t anything very special but delicious laksa still though.
Probably would grab a bowl of laksa over this since it’s cheaper anyway.

I opted for the 2 fibre and 1 protein lunch meal. Had the chicken with truffle fries and sauteed broccoli. Fries were stale..probably leftovers from someone else's order. Lacked truffle taste and the broccoli was way too salty! Chicken was tender and nice.
Came as part of the $5 top up for the lunch set. Creamy bowl of goodness with some chicken meat and carrots.
Fragrance but too oily, only a few shredded chickens found. Not worth the price.

The pasta is average as ingredients is limited, with only a few prawns. For the price of $19, I think it is not worth the money at all. The laksa pasta is creamy but not spicy. As for the truffle pasta, i personally don’t like it as the pasta is quite bland with only truffle smell. I wont be coming back again for their pasta as it is definitely overpriced for this standard.
