We recommend the tomato-based Seafood Zarzuela ($22), which comes with a generous amount of prawns, mussels, squid and seabass fillet. If you're looking for small bites, get the Charcuterie Board ($45) to share, consisting of Parma ham, smoked ham, chorizo and three types of cheese.

Trust this 15-year Shaw Tower resident for some of the tastiest gelato around. You're in for a treat with the wacky and unapologetic flavours here, like the White Chocolate Nori ($3.60) – think nori (Japanese seaweed) infused into a creamy milk based ice cream with white chocolate-coated almond chunks tossed in. The Parmesan Cheese ($3.60), made with parmigiano reggiano and cream crackers, is another fun flavour to try.

Located along Keong Saik Road, this Hawaiin-inspired cafe doles out salad bowls and wraps that are both healthy and delicious. The WikiWiki 2.0 ($14) is what you're here for, which sees a delicious combi of marinated salmon, kimchi, avo, tobiko and jalapenos on red rice. On wraps, the tangy, Mexican-inspired The Muchacho ($14) is a wise pick too.

If you're around Katong, this Joo Chiat Road joint is one worthy contender for satisfying Indian cravings. Expect quality nosh, as everything on the menu is cooked to order. For a fuss-free meal, the 3-Course Set Menu ($39.90) comes with a delicious fish tikka appetiser and two mains, including a fragrant Curry Fish and Chicken Masala in a thick and spicy sauce (best sopped up with the freshly baked naans!).
