Made it here to try the famous @songkeefishball after so many years and hv been seeing it on @willcookwilleat feed so often so as had to come.. I must say the chilli used in the dry version is Super Super shiok! what can I say.. SHIOK MAN! The lady lets you add as much garlic, corriander, vinegar, sambal Chilli as u like.. this bowl came with two rather big pieces of deep fried fish which was Super fresh and a good serving of pork belly, fish cake and a wanton.. the starchiness in the gravy retained for quite awhile with the flavour of the it coming out in every bite... highly recommend! #burpple #gettingfatwhilewaiting #newhood #whilewaitingfortheloml #lomljnck #lomljns

I was really surprised when my ID Contractor suggested to try the dry version of this dish, even stranger when he said there was no Chilli added as it's served in the side. I went for the meat ball version and as I mixed up the noodles it turn blacker and blacker coated in the black sauce that was deceptively hidden below.. the taste was so good and when I added the ban mian Chilli to it, it was Super shiok with the crunch of the ikan bilis that was quite generously given.
