Sadly they no longer serving their signature curry rice that I have from my last visit.
Comes with salad and soup, the stew rice occupied with generous portion of curry gravy. I felt the unagi soft bones was a bit too must where I keep eating it. $16.90+
If sushiro is known for being the most affordable and VFM ( value-for-money) chirashi dons out there, then I must add this place to the list! The storefront isnโt huge but itโs rly a hidden gem! Located along Pickering street itโs pretty accessible and well known among the office peeps that gets it crowded during lunch hours. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and serving of the dish given we only paid
Portion is generous and taste good. Price is reasonable as well
Had to try this considering the hype around it; really liked how the diced fish comes all fresh and chunky atop vinegary rice. Diced in well-sized cubes, the fish gives enough bite, while the whiff of truffle aroma with the fish does not overwhelm the natural flavours of the fish; just perfuming it with a slight hint of truffle that compliments the cubes of diced fish. Temperature of the sushi rice and diced fish was consistent; served cold while the rice was pearly and comes with a hint of sweetness. All sets come with miso soup and a side salad that comes with Goma dressing; a Bara Chirashi that sees the details well taken care of, yet value-for-money for its quality at $15.90.
Solid chunks of salmon, much better seasoning on the rice, and a very nice dash of roe. No service charge or GST yet, so better make your way down soon ๐๐๐
I had this chirashi earlier this week, and somehow it tastes even better than when I first tried this in February 2018.
There are various on-going menu promotions at Sumo-Ya, including an irresistible 1-for-1 promotion for this chirashi until 19 July 2018, so donโt say bojio.
