Their food here is affordably priced and they have an extensive menu range of food items ranging from dim sum kind of small bites, to western pasta, to fusion pastas, to asian delights like hor fun and nasi lemak! There is something for everyone! Even their drink list is super long!
What I ordered was this XO CREAM SAUCE PASTA WITH BUTTERFLY PRAWNS ($15.80++)! First thing first, I like how the prawn is cut butterfly style with a satay stick in it too to make for easy and convenient cutting! No excuses not to order prawn dishes when dining out!
The XO cream sauce however was not the XO kind of taste I expected, though there were visible bits of XO scallop seen in the pasta sauce. This creamy pasta sauce reminded me more of an asian fusion laksa sauce!
The pasta came with lots of shimeiji mushrooms too, my favourite.
Overall, quite a decent meal, and food portions were quite substantial!
Not the tongue-numbing kind of mala soup. I enjoyed eating this! Worth the try!

Stopped by for a quick chat and tea break between lunch and dinner hours. Many people were ordering the milk tea (life) ~$5+, but I opted for the mango juice ($2+) for healthier option. Felt like they used a bit too much syrup though, oops.
Speedy served up. XO sauce Seafood fried rice, not spicy version. Tender squid and juicy prawn, wok fire golden rice mixture of carrot cubes and crab bits. Side dish pan fried chicken dumplings, savoury meat inside, best dip on vinegar sauce. Flavourful iced lemongrass drink.

Not bad really. The only complaint I had was that the portion is just so small for the salted egg yolk chicken !! Well, I guess I can't blame them for it. Every business needs to generate profit, and that would mean selling at a high price and miserable portions for the customers. Or maybe I'm just expecting too much because I have a really huge appetite.
Nevertheless, I love going to The Streats. It's the only place where I can sort of satisfy my hong kong food cravings with my beloved.
P.S. Forgot to mention that the rice was hard. I never like getting rice sets from the Streats. They are strangely always hard or not very well-cooked! Heads Up for you guys --- It's always safer to go for the noodles!!

This is surprisingly good. I didn't expect that the gravy would really taste like tom yum. Sometimes you order something but you kind of mentally prepared yourself that it's was going to be a disappointment. Strange right? I know.
Anyways, they had sotong, prawn, mussels, broccoli and of course the main carb - hor fun. It was absolutely sedap! Great for those who are craving for Tom Yum and Hor Fun π You can now have the Best Of Both Worlds!
