More Reviews of good food at Spices Cafe (Concorde Hotel Singapore)

seafood extravaganza buffet with a one-time serving of a half lobster each 🦞 salted egg crab was good although it was rather small, but we ordered quite a few rounds to make up for it! fresh oysters and sashimi was an added bonus 👍🏻 try to catch the card promos with 1f1 deals to get the most bang for your buck!

Indulge in some of the finest selection of fresh seafood, crab feast (serving 3 different flavours - black pepper, salted egg & chilli) as well as a rotating themed live station that’s different everyday.

Special mentions go to their freshly shucked oysters, half baked lobsters (one complimentary serving per diner) and the DIY laksa station. It was quite a pity that they served crabs that weren’t fresh (probably frozen). Maybe it’s just that day 🤔

On selected dates, this restaurant offers live music for lunch. Good food in a vibrant environment. Love their varieties of food including awesome desserts!

And also a cooked-to-order crabs with an unlimited serving served to you at your table; be it Salted Egg, Black Pepper, Singapore’s Signature Chilli Crab or our Daily Special.

Here's a throwback to last night's dinner feast situation with both my moms - the greatest women warriors who've not only provided me with a delicious life but also taught me the importance of living life deliciously. Don't know why, I personally kinda love this food. Not so wow and not so bad, but it's simple to have. Nothing to describe. Joe and I with her sister have a quick late supper once we touched down Singapore. Thanks! Overall: 3.5/5 (wink)

I'm really glad to be back here again! #burpple #concordehotelsg #spicescafe

The Laksa was superb. The Laksa broth offers the right balance of spice and coconut milk, a distinctive noodle soup that will tickle the tastebuds.

May the Monkey🐒year bring many opportunities for all & may we all be blessed with good health, fortune & happiness!💃🏻
For those not celebrating this festive season, do have a great holiday & enjoy an awesome long weekend!

The grilled Australian lamb rack was so tender and juicy that I went primitive - I just used my hands and bit off the meat directly from the bone. The lamb was well-seasoned and there was also a savoury and sweet mint sauce which made a good accompaniment. It was presented together with grilled polenta and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Here's a #flatlay of all the food we ate at the media food tasting session of the new lunch menu at #concordehotelsg that will be launched on Oct 1st, 2015. I absolutely loved the pan fried goose liver in mantou with sweet lychee sauce!! What a brilliant combination. That dish was definitely the stand out star for me. 😋

Bring your parents and grandparents, all you Nonya families gonna love it!

All you can eat SG and Peranakan food for $23+ if you're a senior citizen hahaha

Live performances on second and last Monday of every month. A lot of people jump up to sing and dance along to Rasa Sayang and Chan Mali Chan. Super SG50

Spice Cafe's Harvest of the Sea Dinner Buffet has crab cooked in 5 different styles. Although this is definitely not the best buffet and a little pricey for the quality of food, but it is still worth a try. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg

This is what we call as 'Kway Chup', rice noodles with varied ingredients including beancurd and intestines.
Really ate too many BUFFETs this month. Check out all the 60 Buffets here! http://danielfooddiary.com/2014/12/02/buffets

Waiting for your recommendations, and looking at my waistline.

The buffet spread and taste at Spices Cafe is actually not too bad, specializing in Peranakan & local spread.
Hope I didn't stress the Popiah chef!

Thank you boss for the treat 😋

There was a good assortment of seafood at the buffet but the main attraction was defintely the lobster and crabs. Pity that the lobster is only limited to 200g per pax, ordered cheese and mentaiko which were pretty good. Crabs were free flow but took awhile to order, salted egg was the best followed by black pepper, didn’t really fancy chilli crab because of the sauce. Overall a decent buffet for a reasonable price
