However that sticky fig pudding, was super delicious.
Probably my favourite item off the buttermilk waffles section at #curiouspalette
It's pretty much like the paddy hills one. I'm not a total fan of hot cakes in general, but with three people... We didn't finish this one too.
Chanced upon this while deciding a place to brunch at Mandarin Gallery. I loved their bagels and latkes so much. It's so difficult to find delicious bagels in Singapore and by far, this is one of the best. I could totally just have that and cream cheese for brunch. The latkes was a surprising winner too. Wasn't too sure what did I order, but it was so delicious with the hollandaise sauce.
I had the kimchi fried rice with steak this time round in Paddy. It was so hearty and delicious, literally worth every single penny for this. Though portion could be a wee bit bigger, but it's still so freaking awesome. I had a really yumm hand brewed coffee too. The only disappointment of the meal was that we ordered cauliflower fritters - it came late and it was way too oily for our liking.
I had a cup of flat white paired with a really yummy slice of earl grey lavender cake. Coffee is really good and I enjoyed the quaint environment of the cafe. Wished I found this place earlier, it's so close to home. The owner of the place is really friendly too, enjoyed the few minutes we spoke. Will definitely be back for more :)
Interesting concept though the coconut ice cream could have more kick. Not exactly the cheapest too. #kokoicecream
Curious is brought to you by the people behind Strangers and their menu is pretty much the same except it's more expanded than the one at Strangers. I'm not very sure why the hotcakes are more popular here (but it's really just instaworthy) but the quality of the food here is pretty good, similar to the other sister cafe. I like that the space is big, airy and bright. Can definitely see myself coming back. Plus, they serve yummy coffee too ;)
Probably one of the smoothest flat whites I had in awhile. It was just so good that even though my coffee became cold, it was still so delicious.
Oh boy, I heard so much about their waffles and they are sooooo delicious! Fluffy and crispy and everything I want in a waffle. Just left me wanting for more!
I read about the magic combination of milk and coffee on the web quite awhile back but never gotten around to try it. Happen to chance upon it today and made a whimsical decision to do so. Wasn't really used to it though coz I'm very used to milky coffee but the lack of milk was something unusual. I expected better but maybe the second cup will be better in the future. Always liked tiong bahru bakery's coffee anyway so it won't be my last :)
