It's got a lot less body and thickness than the other premium seafood soups. The minced pork was the highlight for me previously, and I think it's still decent from the sole fish but abit dry and so it's not special
By no means bad, it's a very good option if you stay in the area, but not worth travelling for
There’s a few seafood soup stall around Marsiling, and this stall is hidden within the same coffee shop as the popular bak kut teh.
The seafood soup was tasty and generous portion for the price of $7. There’s dory fish pieces, prawns and minced meats.
Nowhere near Yan Ji's level. I heard the current stallholder is a pirated Sin Kee. It's fine, but it can't claim to be a seafood soup. The biggest shame was the meatballs, which may be the best thing at Yan Ji, but were the worst here.
