Absolutely delicious satay beehoon ($6.50 for large), one of the best in Singapore. The crowning glory is the gravy - thick and peanutty, and just the right amount to coat every strand of beehoon. Prawns, cuttlefish, pork slices, and a handful of veges completed the dish.
Cuttlefish Kangkong ($4.50 for small) gave a more sweet-spicy flavour as compared to the satay sauce. Reminiscent of the sweet sauce from ying tau foo, mix in the sambal for a strong spicy kick. This came with noodles ($5.50 without noodles).
Be prepared to queue. We started queueing at about 6+ and it was already almost a 30min wait. But so worth it.
The queues for Sin Chew Satay Bee Hoon are insane! Managed to get to the store before they opened and there was already a queue. The ingredients used are super fresh and we rlly love the nutty sauce so much. Worth the queue!
Came here without checking their operating hour but I am lucky. I was here before 10am and they are opened despite indicating that they start from 11am. Here comes my heavy breakfast π€£

Thereβs was queue even already past 8:30pm, luckily I managed to grab one plate before they closed early at 9pm (usual closing time is 10pm).
For $4, you could get the essentials portion of satay beehoon with their delicious satay gravy. Of course you can add money for more items such as the prawn.

πSin Chew Satay Bee Hoon.
51 Upper Bukit Timah Rd, #02-162.
This satay beehoon from Sin Chew is quite popular. So i decided to give it a try. I ordered $5 (you can choose between $4/$5/$6), the ingredients inside are quite generous, contains of tau pok, pork slices, prawn, cuttlefish.
I like it to be more flavourful though for the satay sauce. I thought it was going to be a thick sauce but not really (in my opinion).
The dish was okay. Many people like it! So worth the try.
