Ordered 10pcs pork satay and 1 rice ketupat. ($0.80 each)
🔥Nicely grilled, tender & flavorful chunky pork with some char on the outside. Cooked-to-order and goes really well with their delicious peanut pineapple dipping sauce. Served with some cucumber and onions on the side.
This stall is located in the more quiet area (Green Zone) of the hawker centre.
For the uninitiated, the maze of stalls and cacophony of noise at Chinatown Complex FC can be daunting. For the foodies though, there are treasures that are lurking at every corner of the food centre.
Shi Xiang Satay is one prime example. Located in a sleepy and relatively deserted area of the FC, Shi Xiang serves some of the best chicken and pork satay in town. The meats are well marinated (a little on the sweet side) and grilled to perfection.
In particular, I love their pork satay which comes with a little piece of fat in between which is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Perfectly charcoal Grilled Satay. Juicy and tender. One of the best best I tasted among the famous Satay stalls. No regret.
Can see the owner painstakingly barbecued the satays.
Highly recommended and will bring friends. Hainese style pork Satay. comes with a bowl of Satay sauce with pineapple . Hardly can find this kind of Satay sauce. The sauce is tasty n light. Perfect dipping for satays.
Once you order and make the payment, just inform the boss the table # and he will bring to you.
Every satay is marinated for at least 24 hours to ensure that they’re tasty.

Their satay was so juicy and it is really cheap, for only $0.60 per stick.
Smoky, tender, juicy and well marinated. Really liked the sweetness of the marinade. At this price it's very hard to top
