At $3.50, this Oyster Omelette rice is a no brainer for me. Although it’s only 3 oysters🦪, they’re all plump with a really nice fresh briney taste. The omelette itself is fluffy and comes with a sweet and savoury sauce. Great effort for something this cheap. Get this and order a couple of Ah Tan wings and you’re set for a great meal at Yishun.

(Sorry I got greedy and forgot to take a pic before I took my first bite 😅)

As its name suggest, the oyster omelette rice is white rice buried under a bed of fluffy omelette dressed in a special sweet sauce. Three plump oysters lay hidden within the omelette, like treasures awaiting to be discovered.
.
The oyster is plump and juicy with a clean briny taste without any unpleasant odor.
.
Although this is just a very simple oyster omelette rice, there is nothing more comforting than a mouthful of rice with bits of egg. The oyster is an added bonus.

Really fluffy and slightly caramelised at the bottom. The sauce adds a nice sweet savoury touch. Definitely a great addition to the meal at only 1.5

A bit underwhelmed as i didnt know the soup was miso-based. Wasnt particularly flavourful either, though the garlic oil did help a bit. Cabbage was perfectly cooked, and prawns were big and juicy. Personally prefer other seafood soups where u can taste the sweetness of the seafood. Though the Fish roe ball, which they had a hand in the crafting of the recipe, was absolute bomb. The Fish roe filling was full of explosive umami and sweetness, while the ball had a nice chew.
