My favorite handmade ban mian to date. The noodles? Impeccable. Fresh, chewy, and of nice thickness and texture. The sauce had a nice good mix of savouriness but itβs nothing until you add that amazing chilli which really packs one hell of a spicy punch and elevates the whole experience. Typing this is making me crave it again, but I understand that they have moved? Or will be moving from Sims Avenue to a coffee shop near Geylang East library. Please let me know if anyone finds out their new addressπ«

mee hoon kueh is also springy and all the thinner side but still very enjoyable, if youβre gg to dabao, recommend gg for the soup versions so you get more soup and manis veg HAHA
finally tried penang hengheng after forever! the noodles are handmade and rlly so different from any other youmian weβve ever tried. but the real star has to be their chili SO SO FRAGRANT we really loaded up on it
I was here for the famous wanton mee and found this stall beside it that look appetising as well.
So I gotten this spicy prawn you mian. Do allow them some time to prepare your noodle, as they made it directly upon order. But you could wait there and see how they made the noodle from a big piece of flour.
The taste was surprisingly so good, after you mixed everything in the bowl with the chilli. The you mian texture definitely firmed enough to enjoy.
Saw so many posts online raving about Penang Heng Heng Handmade Noodles so we were here to try it!
We arrived at 10am (opening hours as stated on google map) only to be told by the stall owner that they were still preparing and can only start serving at 1030am. Not sure if it was just a one off timing for our day of visit or everyday is the same 1030am then start selling (pet peeve for me is when the opening hours are different from what they state on google mapπ). So we ended up waiting there for 33mins before our food was finally served π₯²
But thankfully it was a very good bowl of noodles!! We got the dry ban mian and dry meehoonkueh. At first when we saw the white colour noodles, we wondered if any black sauce was even added. But fret not, once you mix up the meat sauce w the noodles, it will turn brown! For spicy eaters, be sure to take the sambal chilli sauce at the counter! Super shiok when it is mixed in!
The noodles were also the best banmian i have ever eaten in SG! Chewy noodles are best! Banmian was more chewy than the meehoonkueh!
If you love their sambal chilli sauce, you can also buy home a tub at $5 each!
π‘: the moment lunch hour hits, the queue tripled in 5 mins π
