As usual, the food was superb 👍🏻 If you love tomatoes, you definitely have to try their tomato 🍅 salad, made with the freshest, sweetest and reddest tomatoes!
Situated within the Park West Condominium at Clementi and helmed by Chef Patrick Heuberger (formerly from Le Bistrot Du Sommelier and Au Petit Salut), Casse-Croûte (pronounced "kras-krut") is a humble kitchen/café, which serves a selection of traditional and unique charcuterie as well as other French bistro fare. Go for their Duck Sausage with Foie Gras and Pistachio Nuts ($8.40 for 100g) and their Braised Lamb Meat Balls in Tomato Sauce ($16 for eight). For those who want a sweet finish, go for their Profiteroles with Vanilla Ice Cream ($12).
So many items on the menu that I didn't get to try that I think I need another trip back to try them. By the way, the boss was really nice! He gave us each a free dessert to take home! I had the tiramisu and will be keeping it for after dinner 😆
We love the simple yet elegant presentation here. It's not very accessible and it's in a condo but portions are generous and food is delicious!
Seared pork sausage, Gammon ham, braised bacon, baked beans, tomatoes and scrambled eggs. This French restaurant is located at the club house of Parkwest Condominium. Other than brunch that is served on Sunday, they have an ala carte menu featuring authentic French cuisine like pâté, escargots and even braised rabbit!
