Had just finished the seafood pao fan and am craving for more now! The broth was simmered for hours and is sooooo sweet and thick! No wonder they are a Michelin star restaurant!

The ngor hiam here is the best I’ve had in Singapore. Each piece is handcrafted and goes with a sauce that is only found here. The sour plum drink was an excellent thirst quencher to go withthis dish.

ordered the DIY prawn noodles set and was left amazed by how flavourful their prawn broth was! will definitely recommend this place to all prawn noodle enthusiasts!!

OMG one of the best prawn noodles I have ever eaten…. PLS the broth is so good, so thick and SO YUMMY. The broth has been boiled for many hours and if you are scared that it may be too “thick”. I ordered the prawn noodles soup and they give a separate soup that is less Gao.

I ordered the DIY prawn noodle, and they were so generous with the ingredients, 3 big prawns and lots of lala. Best part of it is the prawn is peeled HAHAHAHA. Might be pricey for some, but it is really delicious.

Also the place is open air but very windy and not hot at all

I recently visited Zhup Zhup in Singapore and tried their prawn noodles with pork slices and prawns, seafood pao fan, and ngoh hiang platter.

Prawn Noodles with Pork Slices and Prawns
The prawn noodles were a standout dish. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with the essence of prawns, making each sip incredibly satisfying. The prawns were fresh and tender, while the pork slices added a nice meaty texture. The noodles soaked up the broth well, tying everything together beautifully.

Seafood Pao Fan
The seafood pao fan was another highlight. The dish featured a comforting bowl of rice soaked in a savory seafood broth, topped with a generous mix of prawns, fish, and other seafood. The broth was light yet flavorful, and the crispy rice added an interesting texture, making every bite enjoyable.

Ngoh Hiang Platter
The ngoh hiang platter offered a variety of well-seasoned, crispy delights. Each piece was packed with a savory mix of meat and spices, with a perfectly crunchy exterior. It was a great starter that set the tone for the rest of the meal.

Zhup Zhup delivers hearty and satisfying dishes with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you're a fan of prawn noodles, pao fan, or traditional ngoh hiang, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I came across Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodle in many popular vlogs and knew I had to give it a shot. I tried their dry prawn noodle, seafood pao fan, and ngoh hiang platter, and I was thoroughly impressed.
The dry prawn noodle was a flavorful and satisfying dish. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a good bite and a subtle sweetness. The prawn broth was rich and aromatic, with a hint of spice. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, which I DIY-ed to include prawns and sliced pork only.
The seafood pao fan was another standout dish. The rice was cooked just right, and the seafood broth was full of flavor. The seafood ingredients were generous and varied, adding a delightful texture and taste to the dish.
The ngoh hiang platter was a delicious assortment of deep-fried goodness. The ingredients were expertly seasoned and cooked, resulting in a crispy exterior and a tender interior. The accompanying lime juice added a refreshing and tangy element to the dish.
Overall, my experience at Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodle was fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly. If you're a fan of prawn noodle, I highly recommend checking out this gem.
