really enjoyed this!! the matcha powder was slightly sweetened but still retained the bitterness. ice was milky even without the condensed milk too
It has been a while since I had a matcha bingsu ($15.90) and decide to try. I feel that the ingredients such as red bean and matcha powder became lesser. I guess it can't be help that they have to cut cost without increasing the price. Also, I liked that it charge nett price
We love frequenting omaspoon for dessert at 313 Somerset but I’m not sure what happened in the last few months… price has risen slightly but the size has shrunk significantly as you can see from the funny shape (used to be mountain shaped) - injeolmi flavour still tastes wonderful though!
The Petit Yoghurt cup is refreshing after a heavy meal and it tastes healthy (even though it probably isn’t). I recommend this smaller cup if the big bowl is too much as it’s the perfect size.
really saw some of foodies post here but not tempted to try it out. bc i went to korea for bingsu already bck in 2017 so i just preferred their bingsu over here. i never thought it's last dessert for 2022 as i run errands for ownself but at least i managed to try their popular flavour. their bingsu was quite milky and creamy but their ingredients was quite fresh made tbh. Tell me why I try this without ppl share w me. i never understand myself tbh.
🍨 Very Berry Bingsu

💰 $I dont remember but it was pretty dang ex
Tbh ive never understood the hype with bingsu because personally I've always felt indifferent about ice kacang and I always assumed that bingsu was like a glorified version of ice kacang. Well I finally tried it one say and holy hell its GOOD.
This is def NOT like ice kacang, the ice flakes are super smooth and melt in the mouth. This basically tasted like vanilla soft serve because of how light and creamy it was. The strawberries were lovely too, this was like a nice ass dessert.

🤑 worth the price: ehh
🦖 would I buy again: maybe
💍 would I marry: yes
Wow this was a great dessert treat alright! Froze my brain cells some but it was worth it! Not too sweet a dessert and a huge portion for 2-3pax. Beautiful creations on the menu and definitely a favourite with all ages!
We are back at O'Ma Spoon for more bingsu and we are pleased to see that the eatery has launched several new flavours! One such flavour is The Green Mountain, which is a mountain of bingsu adorned with matcha powder and red bean, together with whipped cream and an oreo cookie at it's peak. The matcha powder was fairly bitter and we loved that as this rendered the dessert less sweet. However, you might not want to finish all the matcha powder at the start because there is nothing below all that ice, so you may end up having nothing to go with your ice towards the later part of your dessert.
Our main gripe would be the price of the dish, which is a whopping $16!! 😱 We felt it is a little expensive as the most substantial thing in the dish was the matcha powder, so this is something you may want to bear in mind before ordering this item.
O'Ma Spoon is crowded as usual even on a Monday evening, presumably because it is one of the few eateries open at 10 pm! You probably have to wait a while to get a table if you are there around then.
Injeolmi petit is a must but now thy Are experiencing shortage of Injeolmi rice cake so it’s replaced with matcha rice cake on another hand, mango petit is my to go as I love mango and it’s not too sour nor too sweet 🥰
Had the green tea bingsu, mango yuzu bingsu and injomin toast.
All the bingsu is of good quality and milk is of good quality. Injomin toast is toasted nicely with the mochi in it.
We are back for the second time this year to try another bingsu at O'ma Spoon! This time, we got the green tea flavour which costs $14.90++ and it comes with A LOT of green tea powder atop finely-shaved ice, together with red beans and a scoop of green tea ice cream! The ice cream was pretty concentrated although it is sweeter rather than bitter (aka not matcha). The ice on the inside got a bit plain so don't finish all the green tea powder and ice cream at the start, otherwise the dessert will not be very nice after!
We visited at around 8 pm so it was still pretty empty as the dessert crowd hasn't arrived yet. However, be prepared to queue if you are visiting at around 9+ pm!!
Haven't been here in a really long time but glad to see that the queue was still long! This is the stall's signature Injeolmi Bingsu for around $15, and you have the fluffy shaved ice covered with a lot of kinako soybean powder, and it is topped with rice cakes, red bean and peanut bits. It was really nice although I think the shop overdid the powder as you can really choke on it if you are not careful. Hence, would advise everyone not to eat this in big mouthfuls.
Serving is pretty big so good for sharing amongst two to three persons.
Went to O'ma Spoon after soooo long and had the Very Berry Bingsu🤤 $15.90 and cravings satisfied hehe👍🏻💯
One thing i really like about O'ma spoon is that the shavings are actually milk shavings, not just ice!! It really adds a lot more flavour compared to normal shaved ice bingsus and its my favourite bingsu cafe in Singapore😍
Matcha Mochi (Rice cake) Bingsu ($16.90)
Albeit closer to green tea, the "matcha" flavour was decently strong, and I'd suggest pouring more of the milk over, so you'd get a more milky flavour from the shaved ice. The red bean was pretty sweet, but it did help provide more flavour to the bingsu.
Caramel Honey Butter Bread
Quite an enjoyable toast in terms of flavour - for those who like it sweet, this Caramel Honey & Whipped cream would provide the sweetness you'll like. Toast itself is nothing special, not the fluffiest out there but good enough to satisfy some sweet toast cravings.
Black Sesame Bingsu ($19.80)
This bingsu comes with chewy green tea rice cake, which isn't really strong in the green tea flavour, so don't expect too much from it! I quite enjoyed the first layer, in which you could taste the black sesame grains, but beneath it was just shaved ice/ milk that wasn't milky/ flavoured enough.
Signature Injeolmi Bingsu ($16.90)
This is quite a classic, with Injeolmi and sweetened red bean that I really enjoyed. There's soybean powder at the top layer to provide flavour, but the subsequent layers of ice lacked flavour.
