This was pretty good. Compactly textured, the pudding had a strong coconut taste which went very well with the sago and Gula Melaka. It was a refreshingly milky and creamy dessert that was not too sweet albeit sitting in a bowl of gula melaka. This bowl nailed the proportion of each element perfectly.

Fried rice was not bad although I wished it had more truffle fragrance — since they claimed it’s cooked with truffle oil. Notwithstanding that, there was generous amount of ingredients such as charsiew bits and prawns in the fried rice, which had a good wokhei taste and aroma to it. It was already flavourful in its own right which I think they could do away with the truffle oil, perhaps the alternative option without the truffle oil would be priced more affordably!

Tasty cereal crisps which were on the slightly sweeter side. I loved it! Cereal paired with the huge prawns great, although I did think that the prawn itself could get quite dry. Each piece of prawn was $6 and a minimum order of at least 5 pieces was required. So the cheapest you can get this dish is at $30.

After so many years never eat at No Signboard, we decided to try this afternoon.
We ordered white Pepper crab and chilli crab. We enjoyed the white pepper crab more.
The crab sitting on Korean Vice Vermicelli, so after a while the Vermicelli absorb the gravy and its really good. The crab was big, meaty, the meat firm and coated in tasty white pepper gravy.

One of the shiokest Mee Gorengs I’ve hoovered up in recent times is this plate at the @nosignboardseafood restaurant in @esplanadesingapore. They use an uncommonly thin yellow mee and fries it brazenly with seafood, beancurd and vegetables in quite a lot of spiciness till there’s “wok hei”. The end result is fluffy and light, yet really robust in flavour.

My latest discovery is the Claypot Soon Hock (Marble Goby) at @nosignboardseafood restaurant located in the @esplanadesingapore. Love it for its extraordinarily tasty soup that comes flooded with fresh herbs, roasted garlic slices and fried ginger strips. Besides the fish which was really fresh and meaty, there were large, puffy pieces of beancurd in there too. So darn delicious and substantial as well. I consider this one of the must-orders here.

🦀Tried the crab with two favors: salted egg and white pepper. Each piece of crab body is doused in a concentrated flavored of aromatic white pepper or salted egg. 😋

🦐Cereal prawns is another favorite for me. Cooked with crunchy and aromatic cereal. Good sized prawns with raw cabbage served under the prawns.

We had the Canadian crab dish with sweet chili and egg. But Cana-girl ask to order more food or request for a a quieter table without your waiters rudely telling us off to wait when we have already been doing so? Doubt we will be going back there after our recent experience. There are better seafood places with people who don’t act like it’s a chore to have manners #mannersmakethman

The minced pork was very gooey, we opted out from the dried shrimps but still, it tasted good. $40.

The chili crab is somewhat sweeter than I expected. I wanted a fiery note in that egg gravy but was disappointed. The crab meat has lost its shine, it didn't taste succulent now.

We had the 8-pax menu and it started off with a generous plate of mixed seafood/meat platter which were all tasty and delicious.

A strong peppery aroma engulfs the rice. The pepperyness was indeed addictive. Every grain savored. Sweet crab flesh which made me yearn for a slightly more robust white pepper finish. Overall, it was good and I wished I could have more! Especially the chilli crabs, which I might just go back for.

@nosignboardseafood is having a promo now till end April. Only available at the Esplanade outlet. The white pepper crab fried rice and chilli crab macaroni goes at $15++ each. Don't expect humongous crustacean. This was actually enough to satisfy a crablover like me.

No Signboard’s Crab certainly speaks for itself and its pepper sauce with vermicelli really seal the deal! Might be a little ‘strong’ for others, but as someone with a heavy palate, it was certainly very enjoyable. The ‘glass noodles’ really absorb the full body pepper gravy which means slurping is a Must!

I have always been a fan of the Yam Basket, and these rendition serves a smaller, more bite size version of it! The twist is that you get to bite through a scallop between the crispy yam and then an abalone which is nested on top the yam! These alone is priceless..☝🏽

A notable difference is the presentation of the dishes as they are served and arranged beautifully and artistically on the plate!
The other thing is tat the quality of the food was never compromised! The dishes we tried truly lives up to its name! Items like the Heirloom Beetroot Foie Gras and Petite Abalone & Scallop with Yam Nest really showcase their ability to evolve and to take the art of culinary into the next level! This experience really left me impressed!👌🏽

Buttery crunchy cereal cooked to a golden perfection. Prawns were super fresh and huge, takes at least 2 bites to finish.

Though price is steep. Every grain of rice was well separated and the seasoning was well defined through every bite. Not overly oily and that aromatic fragrance keeps making you want more. .
