Was introduced to Dutch Colony Coffee a few weeks ago and I loved their coffee l. I was sure I had to come back for more and my work day afternoon proved to be a perfect opportunity to park myself here. The ambiance is nice, with ample sunlight, wifi and some power points.
The Coffee proved to be as outstanding as I remembered. But the Thai milk tea loaf was quite meh. The only resemblance to the Thai Milk Tea in Thailand is the sweetness of the loaf. The bake was lacking in flavour and did not have the nice tea aroma I was expecting. I'd skip this.
Add this coffee bar in International Plaza to your Wishlist for your next caffeine run. The beans are roasted by the same guys behind Community Coffee, so expect excellent stuff. Currently made with a Guatamalan blend in the hopper, the Long Black ($4) gets our stamp of approval. Those who prefer a milder flavour will appreciate the White ($4.50) with a smooth finish. Coffee's takeaway-only, so bring your own tumblers!

Chilling out w frens here w this cuppa flat white. Lovely latte art as well. Coffee here doesnt disappoint š
The coffee was fragrant and had a nutty flavour too. This is one of my favourite coffee places in Singapore š
Second time ordering the Dirty ($5) and unfortunately I felt it was quite inconsistent with my first visit to Prodigal Cafe. It wasnāt quite so well-mixed, and ended up being very milky at the bottom but a full-on coffee shot at the top. Iām not sure which way itās supposed to be served, but I preferred it done the first time I visited where the beverage was more uniformly mixed.
The affogato comes in two sizes, and we ordered the larger one. The taller affogato ($7) here should agree with casual coffee drinkers as itās more of a milky dessert than coffee. Similar to the Dirty, this beverage wasnāt well-mixed and there was a clear separation between the milk and espresso shot. Once again, Iām not sure if itās supposed to be served that way, but at least this beverage comes with a spoon so you can mix it if you like.
Tucked away in Queenstown, this small but quality roastery doles out some of the best cuppas around the island with a side of knowledge. Run by second generation roasters with heart for the trade, Tiong Hoe calls out to those equally passionate about drinking it. Come on Sundays, when they feature a single origin brew of the week. If not, order the Latte ($4.50) ā delicious and served in quaint ceramics.

I have heard many good things about this place especially since they roast their own coffee beans. Stepping into Homeground Coffee Roasters is like entering a minimalistic realm as the place is decked out in white and people are sitting by the side benches having a cup of coffee while having a chat or reading a book. I got for myself a white cup made from their Vanta blend of 50% Brazilian beans and 50% Colombian beans. You will get flavour notes of almond, dark chocolate and hazelnut from this blend.

Perk-me-up mocha in a bottle - creamy and not too sweet!
With a unique blend, accurate calibration of machine and brewing skills, the resulting cup will always be of a certain standard. Well balanced with a nutty coffee profile, it is definitely something that I will come back for again.

Guillemard Road's best has opened yet another gem a little further down east. Bring a good friend (or a good book) and leg on over to this zen, white-walled space for your late afternoon joe. Unlike the former, this outpost opens for dinner too ā stay on for spot-on bites like the juicy, savoury Karaage Chicken with B&B Curry Sauce ($9).

When out in town, escape into quiet Everton Park for winning drinks at this standing coffee bar. Sporting the smell of freshly roasted coffee and a communal bar table to huddle around for coffee and conversations, it's no wonder Nylon is so well-loved. Come for an Iced Black ($4) ā a cool, bright cuppa to fuel you on your day.

Liked the full bodied Cata Coffeeās El Naranjal a bit more than the lighter bodied, and slightly more acidic Homeground Coffee Roasterās Fazenda Sao Jao.
Not the most spacious place but the super green vibe makes for a cosy spot to savour brews.
