Caffeine o'clock! ☕️
Went with the recommended Honduras (washed Catuai varietal from Finca Mogola) and loved the super easy-to-drink brew. The dried fruits and brown sugar notes really come through!
Major bonus points for the warm and friendly staff here too. 🙌🏼
If you’re a mocha fan, try the spiced up version here with pink pepper!
If you’re too full for dessert, go for the coffee soft serve instead. Nice coffee punch and not too sweet!
If you don’t want too much milk in your coffee, this is the drink for you: Chilled Hokkaido milk with four shots of ristretto. Don’t worry, it’s not as intense as it sounds.
Liked the full bodied Cata Coffee’s El Naranjal a bit more than the lighter bodied, and slightly more acidic Homeground Coffee Roaster’s Fazenda Sao Jao.
Not the most spacious place but the super green vibe makes for a cosy spot to savour brews.
This was super milky, but that also means you get a more intricate latte art (which is why this is their signature drink for the latte art competitions).
Tried their coffee in Chiang Mai previously and I’m glad to see that they’ve filled the void for quality coffee in Tai Seng.
If you want something more intense, then the magic-style Ficardie (foreground) will most probably float your boat best. Super reasonably priced too! We tried the Shaken Irish) as well, but the boozy hit’s rather mild.
All you need is one bite to understand why the chef says he’ll get so much backlash if this was ever taken out of the menu. Springy noodles topped with a generous amount of moist, flavour-packed pork shreds plus a dollop of a most punchy chilli sauce (you can ask for more) – pretty simple but every element’s well executed.
The shot of espresso brewed from Columbia Mirador beans (this month’s selection) with faint biscuity notes was perfect with milk. Think it’s a single shot but glad it’s not overpriced.
Woohoo! So glad we have a new good coffee place near the office. I really liked this smooth, medium-bodied and very easy to drink brew; the sweetness of the stone fruits really comes through especially with in between sips of water. The filter selection here will change regularly and I look forward to trying more!
This rounded rooibos milk tea is my new default drink here when it's too late for caffeinated drinks. Perfect with soy milk too!
Solid cuppa from this new hole-in-a-wall along Club Street. We tried the Iced Cereal Milk Latte ($7.50) too, but I preferred this unadulterated version more.
Quiche was tasty although a little underseasoned. Portion could be slightly bigger too. Coffee's pretty solid and smooth, which shouldn't come as a surprise since they use beans from Sarnies.
