Light broth & tender beef at hawker prices. How can you not enjoy this yummy bowl of beef noodles? Would recommend to add some chilli flakes for additional kick/spice!
Located in Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre, this coffeeshop stall is the place for yummy Halal-certified mookata. Prices for the meats are reasonable (from $2.30 for marinated chicken) but note that they require you hit a minimum amount of $25 for a la carte orders. It might be easier and better value to go with the Platter Combo ($25 for two persons, $40 for four), which includes a chicken soup base, assorted meats like marinated beef and chicken, as well as veggies. Take Burppler Alex Chua's advice to add on $2 to change the soup to a tom yum broth for extra oomph! Pro tip: They are currently closed, but will reopen on 18 December. Check their Facebook page for updates.
Avg price: $15

Previously located opposite Bugis Junction, the original place has closed and relocated to Chinatown along South Bridge Road.
Now with better and cleaner space, you can enjoy your food in air-conditioned environment. The foods are still taste the same, but also with a better presentation.
Their Ayam Penyet still crunchy as usual. Price: $6
Was craving pinoy food after my recent holiday to Boracay. The Asian food court @ Lucky Plaza came to the rescue! Tapa King is a popular chain restaurant in the Philippines.
I ordered a Tapa King set (meat is beef) which originally came with rice, but I swapped it out for an extra egg.
[served from catered live station]
Grilled chicken with melted cheese and jalapeƱos. Wish they were more generous with the chicken and sauce. Comes with chubby chips and more cheese š

It was the perfect dinner experience having the Deluxe ($19.90 before service charge) buffet at this recently halal cafe. Extremely worth the money because of the wide array of food choices and they are all very, very delicious! Free flow drinks (thai milk tea, bandung, iced lemon tea!) & icecream too! They even have a DIY mini pizza where patrons can cook their own pizza in the wood oven! Indulge & upgrade to their more expensive buffets for more seafood choices like crab and divine oysters! But I personally feel the Deluxe buffet is sufficient for a balanced meal š

I was captured by the videos on their hand pound chilli. I had always walked pass this ulu coffee shop and never knew that this place offered such good food. .

The uncle boiled the chicken till the bones fall apart then deep fried. The auntie hand pounded the chilli from scrap! The ox tail soup was rather salty but deep with flavors. Such good comfort which I would definitely visit again!
Charred yet succulent piece of BBQed chicken thigh dipped in a sweet sticky soy sauce right before serving, accompanied with a curry sauce so thick that the thought of it clogs up your arteries.
